Chapter 56- A-Team Reunited

LARA

Just a strand of a second, we were almost hit by that huge energy ball coming from the enemy. Pero dahil sa bagong spell na natutunan ni Amber, the attack was voided and the dark energy ball difused.

"Amber!" My voice was heard gushing in the air. I felt relieved as I saw them arrived.

Napansin kong lulan sila ng isang malaking halimaw na hawig ng isang griffin. It looked so majestic and powerful with its strong huge wings. Napamaang ako. The creature squeaked as if it recognized me very well. The flapping of its wings showed excitement. Hindi kaya...

"That's ruru." Laurent whispered in my ears. I can sense his smile behind me.

Nagulat ako. I was not expecting ruru would grow up and evolve so fast.

"Ruru is linked with your powers. Habang lumalakas ka ay lumalaki siya at nagtatransform." I heard Laurent again. His arms still wrapped around me as his dark wings carry us in the air.

Baby Ruru seemed to have gotten stronger. Hindi ako makapaniwalang sa iksi ng panahong nawalay ito saakin ay magiging ganon kabilis ang kanyang evolution. I looked up at Laurent and flashed a proud smile. Nang salubungin nito ang aking tingin ay sumilay din ang isang ngiti sa kanyang mga labi. We were so proud being ruru's foster parents.

"Perhaps being papa Lulu isn't bad at all." Laurent gasped a mouthful of air and hugged me tighter as ruru and our friends came closer. Then Laurent whispered, "mama lala, I can't wait to have all this troubles done. Let's do this."

Seeing all of my friends with an additional prince and a purple cat, hearing those words from Laurent and feeling his warmth around me gave me strength. Tila nabuhayan ako ng pag-asa at nawala ang takot ko sa ten disciples of darkness. I raised my left hand and reached for Laurent's face bago ako nagsalita. "Let's do this."

"Lara!" Alvis shouted as they came closer. "We're here for you."

"Yes! Pagkatapos ng laban na 'to papalitan ko na si Mistress Fhaun bilang master of spell and potion! I miss you both!" Maluha-luha pang sabi ni Amber habang kinakausap kami ni Laurent.

"Hey, Laurent, Lara! I brought with me an old friend. Kaiser!" Pagpapakilala ni Silex sa prinsipe. Ngumiti at kumaway naman si Kaiser saamin.

Nakamasid parin ang tatlong mandirigma nang lingunin ko. Marahil ay pinaplano na ng mga ito kung paano kami lalabanan.

Laurent flew near Ruru's back. I felt him kiss my temple before I heard him say, "We have three nine dark warriors to beat. These three are the second wave. Huwag niyo silang mamaliitin dahil katumbas ng mga 'yan ang lakas ng isang preceptor. Silex, can you transform into a winged creature?"

"I'll be a giant falcon this time!" Silex answered with a grin on his face.

"Good. Silex will carry the prince. Prince Kaiser, with all due respect, take the monster with a metallic suit. You are old friends and you got this with your team work."

Tumango ang prinsipe at lumingon sa katabi nitong si Silex.

"Lara and Amber will ride on ruru's back. Take the dark lady and beat her." patuloy ni Laurent.
