"I'm good Emir. I am on my way home. I'll talk to you later."
"I am not a kid, Emir. I am not a weather forecaster to know when it's raining when a storm will come, and when there will be sunshine. Nazli arranged this party in the happiness of her graduation so I was supposed to be there."
Ozan faked a snore for a cough at the way she said it.
"Of course, Dad won't send me alone. Ozan is with me. I am well protected by him so you don't need to worry."
A silence was heard by Ozan before Ceylan snapped at her fiance as though she was chewing her words. "I don't care whether you trust him or not. Dad does and that's enough for me. He is fully capable of protecting me and he does it every time."
Ozan nuzzled his nose as he relished at this discussion. Emir was definitely not happy with Ozan being Ceylan's bodyguard. But Mr. Aslan totally trusted him and didn't listen to anyone else.
"Okay for now signals are dropping. I'll call you soon. Bye."
She groaned as she thrust the phone into her lap. Her gorgeous eyes filled with irritation.
Once they reached Aysin's mansion, Ozan again was ready with an umbrella for her. The rain had become considerably less with small drops but he had to make sure that Ceylan was safe and sound. The look in her eyes again became dark seeing him and he knew very soon she would drop this small layer of hesitation. She pressed her palm flat over this hard chest.
"Your shirt was so nice but you ruined it for no reason in the rain," she murmured, a pink line creeping over her cheeks.
He held her hand, deliberately prolonging the contact before pulling it away. "You can't touch me like that, Miss. I am your bodyguard."
"Is there something I can do by my own will?" She asked, more to herself.
"Being with you, Ozan is the only time I find myself a bit relaxed and have some liberty," she uttered, as a matter of fact.
He pretended to freeze. "I don't understand."
"Your company is very nice. Go to your quarters and change your clothes. Don't forget to have a hot cup of tea so you won't catch cold. Take care of yourself. If you will remain healthy, only then you can protect me," she sidelined with a small smile.
He returned the smile. "Of course. I'll take my leave."
Ceylan watched him go to the backyard with a longing in her eyes. While as soon as Ozan turned, he had that gut-wrenching smile on his lips.

"Happy Birthday to you. Happy Birthday to you. Happy Birthday dear Aurang. Happy Birthday to you...." She was jumping up and down in ecstasy while clapping in joy as he cut the cake.
Aurang smiled fervently and then took a slice in his hand before heading it towards her mouth. She bit a small piece with a grin.
"Happy birthday, Aurang. Many many happy returns of this day," she chimed in excitement before feeding him a cake as well.
"Here's your gift," she confided, forwarding a black shopping bag to his hand.
"Thanks, Andi. But there was no need for it. For me, only your love matters. You can love someone like me is itself such a big gift for me," he said, touching her shoulder.
Andaleeb held his hand. "Next time, I'll smack your head if you say something like this. Someone like you? What does that mean? For me, you are the best person in this world and nothing else matters."
