"Hey, we're out of towels and those shimmy things."
"I'll go get some more. Mind the money" Caroline said and went inside of the school.
Elena sat beside Vivienne, counting the money, and making occasional conversations with Vivienne.
A lot of people were coming and going, but it seemed one particular guy had caught Elena's attention.
He looked like he was around a sixty-something guy, who she apparently met at the grill.
"Well I thought it was somebody I knew" he said, referring to Stefan.
"Stefan Salvatore."Elena said, trying to make him remember.
"Nah it can't be, it's just my mind.." he shook his head, "playing tricks on me"
"Where do you think you'd seen him before?" Elena asked.
"When I first moved here, I stayed at the Salvatore boarding house. Stefan was just passing through to visit his uncle. I mean none of us knew we even here until the attack"
"Attack?"
"His uncle got killed"
That pulled Vivienne's attention towards the conversation and she started listening in.
"What?"
"Mauled by an animal in the woods"
"His uncle Zach?" Vivienne asked, leaning in.
"Nope, mm-mm, Joseph"
"I'm sorry sir, I don't think I'm familiar with the sorry" Elena shook her head,
"well how could you? I mean, this happens years ago"
"Grandpa" the two looked back and saw ticki standing there, "you gotta go. Mom wants you home okay?" Uncle nodded and started going towards the exit, "he wasn't bugging you two was he? He's a little alzy-heimer"
"Uh no, he was sweet. Hey, ticki, can u watch the register for a few pls? Thanks" Vivenne said as her and Elena walked behind the uncle.
"Excuse me sir!" He looked back, "are you sure that the man you know or saw, that his name was Stefan Salvatore?"
"Yes...I remember his ring...and his brother..uh.."
"Damon?" Vivienne asked.
"Yeah. Stefan and Damon Salvatore"
"When was this?" Vivienne asked.
"It was early...June...1953... yeah. June 1953"
Elena and Vivienne watched the man leave.
They saw Stefan walking over to them, and Elena leaned into Vivienne's ear.
"I need you to do something for me" she whispered.
"I got it" Vivenne gave Stefan a smiled and waved at him before walking away to the school.
She went over to her locker and opened it, pulling her bag out, then went into the cafeteria, where quite a lot of people were taking their break from all the car washing.
Vivienne sat down on one of the benches, and pulled out her laptop, setting it on the desk she sat on.
She kept her bag aside, opened her laptop, and started going through her files.
She had all sorts of news files, art files, folklore files, you name it.
While going through her news files from the 50's she got accompanied by Elena.
"Hey, found anything yet?"
"Still going through. There were alot of news reports during that year.." she said, still going through, "Aha!"
Vivienne clicked on a video that dated back to June 12, 1953.
"It's so weird that you hate history but have all these news reports of the past" Elena said as she started watching the videos.
"These are for folklore history Elena, I'm not into those battles or wars or stuff. I prefer vampires, skin walkers, witches and werewolves. These news files however have been here forever and Ive barely ever opened them. " Vivienne shrugged and continued watching with her cousin.
"This is franklin fell, reporting from the Salvatore boarding house" the news reporter guy said, "where a brutal animal attack has ended in tragedy"
They looked back and saw the bodies being taken out,
"Hey they're taking out the bodies, see if you can get a closer look"
"Joseph Salvatore?" Vivienne mumbled, and Elena nodded slowly.
"Hey is that the nephew?" The cameras rotated to a man standing at the back.
"Pause. Pause"
Vivienne pressed the pause button to clear the man's shaking face,
"Is that....stefan?"
Elena asked, her eyes as wide as they can get.
"Salvatore...." Vivenne said, her eyes copying Elena.
There was a long silence between the two before Vivienne squealed loudly.
"See! I proved it! They are real! And Stefan is one of them!" Vivienne smiled so brightly.
Elena looked at Vivienne like she had two heads.
"Oh..."realisation spread across Vivienne's face.
"Oh..." Elena nodded.
