"My warriors will be here for tonight's outcome. They will stay until the fucking problem is solve." I claim as I put my foot down at the topic.

      "We don't.."

"They're staying! And that's finally. Elizabeth is not gonna have to worry that her family are targets." I step in to tower her. And than the man grabs my arm. I grab hold of his collar to stay back. "Whether you like it or not. You are not gonna cross the treaty because some shit your mother did. DO BETTER!"

"If you haven't notice yet. This isn't a pack. So you have no authority here."

"Am about to." Matching her anger. I shake my head at her. Releasing the man I walked out to check on my mate. And make a quick call to make the affairs in order.

I close the door softly. My fist balls up and I lay my head on the door. Screaming all my rage inside. They really fuck things up. The coven will end up as the wolves meal if this keep it up. And I won't have Elizabeth accountable to that.

After I breathe it out. I turn to see Elizabeth was still asleep. Last night took a lot out of her. More than I would want.

I grab my phone and dial Mason's number. He picks up after the second ring.

      "Hello? Travis?"

"I need you to roll up 8 warriors to stay here at Luminis." I say as I slowly calm down.

"Sure. But can I ask why? Did something happen?" He asked.

"You have no fucking clue. And Meredith is behind it. I know it." I went on to tell Mason everything so we can come up with a solution.

Meredith

"Meredith dear. Maybe it was wrong for us to not call sooner. We knew it could of gone worst." Mable says with a crack voice.

Danny places a hand on her shoulder. "You did what you were told. No one called for this." He reassures her.

"That's right." They look up at me. "The Elders said to wait. They haven't attack. So we didn't need to." I say.

"A child was frighten. Nor to less during her.."

"No one could of calculated for that. She wasn't harm. She'll live." I spat.

"Meredith. We all wanted to keep it safe. Your aunt is just saying that maybe we could of use some help. The man obviously cares for the coven." Danny says.

"No! We've been fine without them. We would be fine. I had a plan to fix it. I was gonna tell her. But afterwards. I can do this without relying on her." I begin to walk out to the halls. They both follow.

"Meredith." She said gentle. Making us take a stop. "You are doing a splendid job. But don't think that asking for help is bad. That's your mother talking."

"It's not her. Why do you all keep saying.." I take a few breaths before my anger lashes out once more. "I'll fix it. I will."

"Okay dear. Just remember we are not alone. Treaty or not. Elizabeth and Travis does have our back. As do we. They are a part of Luminis and our family." She says with a nod.

I know she's right. It's not a question at all. I would do anything to help them. Just like I know they would too. And that's a problem at the moment. I don't want to bother them so much. I didn't want to put them in harm. It's not like we can't or haven't been fine all these centuries go. Witches can handle themselves. Despite what the problem is.

I'm gonna figure it out. I'm gonna get them to stop. I'll talk to the Alpha. Again.

"We can do this without needing them all the time. We have for so long. Besides, she's busy. I'm not gonna add on if I don't need to." I told them both.

Mable nods with a unsure smile. She gave me  a soft hug goodbye and I know deep down she worries. But also knows she can't push me to this decision.

"Thank you Danny. For coming with." I tell him. He watches in awes as Mable walks away. "Danny?"

"Mmh huh. Yeah? What?" He stutters.

"You know he wasn't gonna hurt us right?" I asked him. I saw the look he had when he tried to hold back Travis.

      "Precaution. I offer to come."

I nod. And he turns to see if Mable was still there. I was always in such wonders on what goes on between those two. The way they look at each other. It tells you there's a past. Like a past, past.

"Are you two back in the bubble?" Rising a high brow.

"Bubble?" Giving me a confuse look.

"That's what Mable called it. I can tell when she's very happy. And you're around more. Together even. And she's been happy around you lately." Smirking at him.

He chuckles to himself. "We're good friends."

"Friends. Sure." Shaking my head to their white lie.

"Are you suggesting we're not? Has she said something to you?" I see his face turn a small pink.

"No no. But is there something?" Rising my brow. I was curious.

"We're adults. We can be friends after all." Danny says but I don't buy it much.

"You know I know there was something with you two. But I don't know that story." Lord I have tried to hear that story my whole life.

"She hasn't told you?" His eyes widen in shock. I shook my head at him. "Well it's her story to tell. You should ask her."

"Oh come on." Whining a little. "Aunt Mable always says she would but never does. Can't you tell me?"

"It's her story." I read his face. Blankly telling me he can't.

      "Did things end that badly?"

He laughs and rub his temple. "Debatable."

      "I see."

He checks his phone. Texting quickly. "I have to go. Call me if you need to."

      "I will. Thanks again."

Danny nods and calls someone. Rushing out the hospital. I look back, down Elizabeth's hall. I wanted to go in and see her. But not after what I did. Not after I just yelled at Travis.

"I'm sorry. I should of ended it before yesterday."

I turn on my heels and leave. Hating myself for such a mess. Oh what a mouth full mother would of said over this. I should be doing better. I need to do better. I knew better.
