Si Jun's POV:-

I clung to my father, feeling the weight of his acceptance and the gravity of the decision we were making. As Jungkook's words echoed in the room, I looked up at my father, silently pleading for his understanding.

He regarded me with a mixture of concern and resignation, then finally nodded, his gaze softening. "Go, my dear. Take care of each other," he said, his voice filled with a father's love and a touch of sadness.

Tears welled up in my eyes as I hugged my father tightly, overwhelmed by his support. "Thank you, Dad," I murmured, my voice choking with emotion.

As Jungkook's words sank in, my heart fluttered with a mix of hope and apprehension. I gazed into his eyes, searching for reassurance as he cupped my face tenderly.

"I'll come soon. In a few days. Okay. I have to do something then I'll take you with me," he promised, his voice filled with determination.

I nodded, trying to push aside the doubts that threatened to overwhelm me. His kiss on my forehead was a bittersweet comfort, a silent promise of his return.

As he turned to leave, a surge of fear gripped me, and I ran after him, wrapping my arms around him tightly. "Jungkook, how will you manage everything? I'm scared," I confessed, my voice trembling with worry.

He turned back to me, his touch gentle as he cupped my face, his eyes filled with unwavering resolve. "Believe in me. I'll do everything," he reassured me, his words a soothing balm to my fears.

With a heavy heart, I reluctantly let him go, pressing a hurried kiss to his lips before pulling away. "Take care," I whispered, watching him disappear into the distance, his promise echoing in my mind.

_______________

As I stood amidst the joyous celebration of Taehyung and Se Mi's marriage, my heart couldn't help but ache with longing for Jungkook's return. I approached Se Mi, enveloping her in a tight hug, my smile masking the pang of loneliness within me.

"I'm happy for you," I murmured softly, my voice tinged with a hint of melancholy.

Se Mi returned the embrace, her eyes shining with gratitude. "Thank you so much, Si Jun. Without you, it would be impossible," she said, her words carrying a warmth that momentarily eased the ache in my heart.

I nodded, mustering a smile as I urged her to go, knowing that Taehyung was waiting eagerly for his bride. With a nod of understanding, Se Mi hurried off to join her beloved.

As Taehyung and Se Mi exchanged rings and vows, sealing their love with a tender kiss, I couldn't help but feel a twinge of envy mingled with happiness for their newfound happiness.

Seong Jin's hand encircled my waist possessively, his smirk sending a chill down my spine. "Soon we'll be married, just like this," he asserted, his voice laced with arrogance.

Gritting my teeth, I pushed against his grip. "I won't marry you," I retorted defiantly, my resolve unwavering despite his intimidation.

With a forceful tug, he pulled me closer, his grip tightening as he asserted his dominance. "You will," he insisted, his words dripping with malice. "Who will save you?"

Suddenly, a familiar voice shattered the tension, sending a surge of hope through me. "Let her go," Jungkook's voice rang out, filled with determination and protective fury.

Relief flooded through me as I turned towards Jungkook, rushing into his arms for safety and comfort. "I missed you," I confessed softly, my voice trembling with emotion.
