In halls where knowledge lights the way, Young hearts are free to pause and pray. Within the bounds of law, they find, A sacred space, a peace of mind.
The Constitution's shield, it stands, Protecting faith across the lands. In public schools, with gentle grace, Beliefs can flourish in their place.
No rule shall bind, no force shall sway, Each student's right to choose their way. They pray alone or join in kind, In moments free, no rules confined.
Yet schools must tread a careful line, No prayer they lead, no faith define. In every act, they must ensure, No single creed, their stance is pure.
Accommodate, they must, with care, A time to pause, a space to share. For in these walls, where minds expand, Faith walks beside, hand in hand.

The fact is students in public schools are allowed to pray and engage in other religious activities as long as they do not disrupt the educational process or infringe on the rights of others.
The United States Constitution protects the right to freedom of religion and prohibits the government, including public schools, from establishing or promoting any particular religion. This means that students have the right to express their religious beliefs in a non-disruptive way, such as praying alone or with others during non-instructional time, wearing religious clothing or symbols, and sharing their religious beliefs with others.
However, public schools cannot sponsor or endorse religious activities, such as leading or participating in a prayer during instructional time or school-sponsored events, as this would be considered an unconstitutional establishment of religion. Additionally, public schools must accommodate the religious beliefs of students to the extent possible, such as allowing for time to pray during non-instructional time or providing space for students to engage in religious practices.
