Samaira's Pov
I slipped into my chair, feeling like a puzzle piece clicking into place. My desk, my computer, my team – everything felt familiar and comforting. I took a deep breath, savoring the scent of fresh coffee and the hum of the office. It was good to be back.
Halfway through my work,there was a knock on the door,and I saw Kumar one of the staff of our office.
"Anay sir is calling you mam"
"Hm ok,I'm coming."
I made my way to his office room,rapped on the door and heard a welcoming
"Come in"
" Samaira,please take a seat we need to have a lengthy conversation"
I took a seat.
"So,I need to inform you about something more precisely your next mission"
"Ok Sir..What's the mission objective?
Give me the details,I'm all years"
He chuckled at my excitement..
"You heard about the missing of Vanraj Sharma last month right?"
"Yes sir"
"We suspected that the missing of Mr.Sharma is not normal,so we started to investigate more and got to know that he had a link in Underworld working,and guess what ,we found something which gave a new way to this mission"
"What you have found?"
"The rumours of child trafficking,human trafficking in the Underworld is true and everyone who are linked with underworld are connected and you won't believe a named businessmam of our country is also connected"
"Who sir?"
"V.S ..It is believed that Mr.Sharma and V.S don't go eye to eye"
"So,by chance V.S is the reason of Mr.Sharma's missing?,and What's the full name of V.S?
"It can be,and guess what I have already done your one job,I have a picture of this person"
"Well good for me then"
He just chuckled and moved towards his desk and take out a picture.
He placed the picture on the table and said "He is V.S"
I looked the picture for sometime and asked him
"Are you sure he is the one?"
"Samaira,investigation says this only but that are not enough and I do also have a doubt that they are false that is why I want you to catch him as soon as possible so that we can stop those Underworld activities"
"But how are you so sure that after catching him the activities in the Underworld will stop when you also have a doubt,"
"That you will know when you actually start working on it"
"And I want this mission to be completed as soon as possible,and I hope you will not disappoint me"
"Yes sir "
With that I moved out from his office with the picture.
I was deep in thought , staring at the picture ,when a voice pierced the quiet.
"So the legendary agent is back and I guess got a new mission too"
Naina Mathur,a NIA agent whose work is same as mine but still envious of my work.I don't know what problem she has with me because at last we are here to find the criminals and give justice to the innocent one.
"Well,as you said legendary agent so
a new mission waiting for me the moment I get back"
"Still that bitchy attitude huh"
"You are still same Naina,a person with negative attitude is quick to spot it in others"
"You better work on your mission and please don't poke your nose in my work"
By saying I left from their to my room.
After sometime..
It was around 6:00 pm I decided to head back home.I'm exhausted from the mayhem today,and this mission is cherry on top.
As I stood outside the office wating for the cab,my phone rang,and I picked it up to hear the familiar voice.
"So,did I disturb you?"
"Absolutely not,you called at right time"
"That's good,how was your work"
"Hectic,not as you Mr.C.E.O"
"What dou you mean doesn't Ceo's work?"
"Yess,they just sit in their chair and give orders"
"You and your logic"
And there was a silence it feels he wanted to say something but couldn't.
"Kuch Kahoge?"(Want to tell something)
"Kahunga,thik samay ane par"(Will tell when the right time comes)
"Kuch bate bol dena chahiye Advik,kaya pata wo thik samay kabhi ahei na"(Sometime you need to tell Advik,who knows if that right moment don't come)
"Hmm,kahunga jaldhi"(Will tell soon)
"Ok now go home safely"
"Don't worry,you know na I have a black belt"
"Hhaha I know byee take care"
Staring at the phone,I couldn't help but think about the unknown path our future would take us.....
