As Gorou stood before Itto, his heart raced with anticipation and nervousness, knowing that the words he was about to speak would change everything between them. He took a deep breath, gathering his courage, and met Itto's gaze, his voice steady but filled with emotion.

"Itto," Gorou began, his voice soft yet resolute, "there's something important I need to tell you."

"I already know!" Itto grins proudly, Shinobu sighs, face palming and Gorou chuckles fondly.

Itto's brow furrowed in concern, his gaze searching Gorou's face for any sign of distress. "What is it, puppy?" he asked gently, using the affectionate nickname that always melted Gorou's heart.

Gorou took a moment to steady himself before speaking again, his voice barely above a whisper. "I'm pregnant, Itto," he confessed, his heart pounding in his chest as he waited for Itto's reaction.

For a moment, there was silence as Itto processed the news, his expression a mix of surprise and wonder. Then, slowly, a smile spread across his face, his eyes lighting up with joy and pride.

"Gorou," Itto breathed, his voice filled with awe, "that's... that's amazing news. We're going to be parents."

Relief washed over Gorou as he felt Itto's strong arms wrap around him in a tight embrace, holding him close as they shared in the joy of this momentous occasion. Together, they stood in the quiet of Itto's stronghold, surrounded by the warmth of their love and the promise of a future filled with happiness and adventure. And as they held each other close, Gorou knew that no matter what challenges lay ahead, they would face them together, as partners and as parents, united in their bond and unwavering commitment to each other.

Meanwhile, Tighnari sat alone in their secluded forest hut, the air heavy with tension as he struggled to come to terms with the life-altering news he had just received. With trembling hands, he clutched the document in his grasp, staring in disbelief at the words that confirmed his suspicions.

He was pregnant.

The realization hit him like a tidal wave, sweeping away any semblance of the calm and composure he had tried so hard to maintain. His mind raced with a whirlwind of conflicting emotions—joy, fear, excitement, and above all, a deep-seated sense of uncertainty about the future. But amidst the chaos of his thoughts, there was one person he longed to share his news with more than anyone else—Cyno, his beloved mate, who was off on a mission in the unforgiving desert as the General Mahamatra.

With a heavy heart, Tighnari tried to push aside his worries and focus on the task at hand. But as the days stretched into weeks, and there was still no word from Cyno, the gnawing sense of unease that had settled in the pit of his stomach only grew stronger.

Then, one fateful day, as Tighnari sat alone in their forest hut, grappling with his newfound reality, a shadow fell across the threshold—a Mahamatra, bearing grave news.

"Cyno," Tighnari breathed, his voice barely above a whisper as the gravity of the situation hit him like a physical blow. "What happened to him? Is he...?"

The Mahamatra's expression was grim as he shook his head, his voice heavy with regret. "We don't know, Tighnari. He disappeared during a sandstorm, and despite our best efforts, we've been unable to locate him. I'm sorry."

"No... no no no no NO!" Tighnari repeats over and over before screaming at the screen angrily. Cyno tries his best to calm him down, holding Tighnari tight.

The words hung in the air, a slow, suffocating weight that crushed Tighnari's spirit. His knees buckled beneath him, and he sank to the floor, the shock and sorrow overwhelming him. Tears streamed down his cheeks, each one a silent cry of anguish.
