Sometimes I wish
To see what goes on behind your icy blue eyes.
Your cute, bouncy curls.
And that charming smile.
Someone so full of mystery
A mosaic of contradictions
Someone I can't help but ponder:
Am I special?
Am I different?
Am I more than your other half?
Or am I
Just another man who walks through
The awkward elevator,
The sterile hallways,
Through your ghastly doorway?
Am I a mere fly, ensnared in your spider's trap?
Or am I worth more than that?
I sense you know,
But you can't say that yet.
