My only wish tonight is for you to
Kiss me as if you ain't said a thing
And pull me in so tight
I don't want to grip to loosen
Cuz that don't feel right
And round and round and round and round and round and round we go
Trying so hard not to let this moment fade into black
man I wish I had a bit more self respect
And stop pretending that things aren't over yet
I remember seeing your eyes closed the whole time
Was it because you wishing that I had more peace of mind
When you kept on giving me what I wanted while you got none in return
As I was having my whole world burn
The sand castle on the beach is crumbling down
Next to the names that are slowly washing out
And yet we will come back again again again
To try to make the pieces fit just like how things had began
And I know I have only a little time left
Before the clock strikes 12 and you have to leave the ball
But I wish I could stop ruining everything I touch
So then I can have you after it all
