Mirror

As a sit up neat and tall.
Mirror mirror on the wall
Will you tell me who the fairest is, of them all
No reply.
Like Always.
But that's okay.
But this time I ask why
I stand up tall.
And repeat, mirror mirror on the wall, who is the fairest of them all?
That's when you came out from behind me
Your sweet innocent face begged for my attention
You swept me off my feet.
That's when I knew that life isn't all sweet and sometimes could be bitter tea.
You talked and laughed
Who knew we were all one big cast?
That's when you left all the sudden.
Tears streamed down my face
I crawled into bed.
Knowing someone took my place.
Then I remembered.
I didn't sit up straight and tall.
But I did say. Mirror, mirror, on the wall, who is the fairest of them all.
That's when I realized.
My reflection was in the mirror.
