Alice and Lillian just got back from their honeymoon. it was really hard without them here. early march is the craziest time of the year. with march madness coming up, everything is chaos.
Lillian walks into the office with a dark tan.
"damn, girl," I say. "you're tan."
"I know right!" Alice says, walking into the office. "and we hardly even left the hotel room!"
I hardly have time to process what she said before I look at her.
her hair has changed. it used to be long. now it's short and layered.
"your hair," Lillian says.
"is it bad?" she asks.
"no," Lillian laughs. "I love it."
"good," Alice walks over to sit next to Lillian.
