Isla Mariner's new podcast was never supposed to be personal-until a player from the basketball team decided to listen.

Nailea grew up in Iowa with her two best friends, Paige and Kate. She was raised by her dad and at the age of 10, she had to move to Connecticut where her dad's girlfriend lived with her son. Despite living in another state, she tried to maintain her friendship with Paige and Kate through letters since they weren't allowed to have phones. However, she lost touch with Kate, and Paige eventually moved to Connecticut. Adding to her challenges, her father passed away. Currently, Nailea faces the difficult situation of leaving her home due to her stepmother's disapproval of her sexuality. She relocates to Iowa, where her only other family member, Aunt Lisa, resides. Aunt Lisa is the women's basketball coach at Iowa. Nailea makes the move with her older brother and his wife. She worries about leaving behind her girlfriend, Caroline, and her best friend, Paige, and wonders if her relationship with Caroline will withstand the distance. Besides, she is concerned about mending her relationship with her stepmother.

But, while he seems like someone who's already in the NBA while on the court and off the court, he has to deal with balancing High School, media attention, and people trying to cut him down before his career even starts. How will he deal with all this pressure? Alexandria Prince (Alex) is new to the school as a 16 year old Junior, and has already set the all time record for the school swim team. She also made it onto the school's basketball team. She'st the girlfriend to the school's star quarterback, Jackson, however, after a while she begins to realize that maybe he's not the best guy to be around. After ditching him at a party, she ends up meeting a boy that completely changes her life. For the best it seems. Who is this mystery boy and will he help her in the long run? Will she end up making it to the State finals this year on the basketball team? Or will her social life and pressure get to her?
