There is nothing wrong with wanting to be loved. Nor is there anything wrong with wanting to love someone. But there are certain limitations when it comes to deciding the one to fall in love with.
A stranger? Yes.
A stranger who becomes your step-brother? Not so sure.
Jungkook kept scribbling gibberish at the back of his notebook. It was not until the librarian pointed out that he was being noisy, that he realised he had been mindlessly wasting his time.
He was bored to say the least. Jimin was not attending lectures today for whatever reason. Didn't pick up jungkook's calls nor replied to any of his texts.
He sighed and looked outside the window to find Taehyung talking to a girl. He got up stuffing his backpack with his books and rushed towards where taehyung was.
The girl saw Jungkook walking towards them and her eyes widened. She slipped something into Taehyung's pocket and walked away.
Taehyung was surprised by her behaviour. He turned around to find jungkook walking towards him with a not so friendly expression.
"What were you guys talking about?" He asked hesitantly.
"Oh nothing " Taehyung shrugged.
Jungkook was not satisfied with the answer.
"Why are you not attending your lectures Jungkook?" He asked.
"I could ask you the exact same thing?" Jungkook replied.
"The tiny midget is nowhere to be seen today. Is that way you are here to kill your time while you argue with me?" Taehyung said.
"What are you talking about, we are not arguing? And it got nothing to do with jimin" Jungkook replied.
Taehyung sighed. "I know you haven't had breakfast. Fancy a Sandwich?"
Jungkook was mad at Taehyung.
Not because he assumed they were having an argument. Also not because he mentioned jimin. But because he wouldn't tell him what the girl was talking about.
"Only if we are going to Marie's cafe" Jungkook replied as he walked after Taehyung.
Now as they sit across each other. One busy deciding what to order and the other finding ways to reach the other's pocket. Why? Cause he saw the girl slipping something into Taehyung's pocket.
"A Veg Sandwich for me" Taehyung declared.
"I want the exact same thing" Jungkook said smiling to the waitress.
Taehyung raised an eyebrow, "Are you alright today?"
"Yess i am absolutely fine" Jungkook replied.
"No cause you always order a grilled cheese sandwich everytime we are here" He said,
"There is something on your face" Jungkook said abruptly, catching taehyung off gaurd as jungkook reached out to touch his face.
"It's fine I will clean it-" He said moving away before Jungkook could touch him.
"You should check it in the restroom mirror" Jungkook said with a smile.
Taehyung was again really confused by the younger's behaviour but didn't question it and headed towards the rest room.
Jungkook took this opportunity to search Taehyung's pocketed jacket. He found in it a paper. It was a love letter. But it was not for Taehyung, the girl wrote it for Jungkook. Assuming Taehyung would hand him the letter.
He wondered why Taehyung did not tell him about the letter.
When Taehyung came back they didn't really talk much. After finishing their meal they walked towards their house.
*Notification sound* Jungkook looked up at his phone.
"Hyung I need to go somewhere. Will be back in a couple of hours" Jungkook said as he dialed a number and walked the other way.
Taehyung opened his mouth to say something but instead of saying something he stood there rubbing his temple.
"Please don't get yourself in trouble" He thought to himself.
