Chapter 15

"Jungkook be a good boy and don't make me worry about you."
Said the girl as she ruffled the bangs of the little kid.

"I am going to be alright Ara."
Jungkook smiled.

A man walked towards jungkook,
"Is the little man good to go?"
Asked the man bending to jungkook's height.

"Yes Mr. Jung"
Jungkook nodded.

A little boy came running from behind and held onto Mr. Jung's leg,
"Can you please take me with you too?"

"I already told you before Jimin, we are not going to hang out. It's a falicitation program for young achievers so jungkook has been called to receive his award for marital arts.
Besides you are sick, you really need to rest."

Mr. Jung said as he handed a chocolate to Jimin.

Mr. Jung then held jungkook's hand,
"Don't you want to say bye to your sister jungkook?"

He looked back,
"Bye Ara, don't miss me too much"

Ara waved back.
Mr. Jung chuckled,
"When are you going to start calling her noona?"

"Never...!!"
Jungkook said laughing.

His laughter piercing through jimin's ears and the little boy clenched his fists.

"Let's go home jungkook"

He couldn't help but his eyes were filled with tears looking at the state of Jungkook.

He carefully held his arm and sat him in the car.
He looked at him once again before driving off.
They didn't exchange any words.
There was a speeding car causing taehyung to push his breaks, he noticed how Jungkook flinched and quickly held onto Taehyung's shirt.

"Everything's alright jungkook. I am here".
He said assuring him.

Jungkook did not let go of Taehyung's shirt until they reached their home.

"We are here jungkook"
Taehyung said pulling the seat belt off jungkook.

He was too much in his thoughts to notice that he was already home.

His hands still shivering and legs wobbly, taehyung held him tight by his shoulder and took him to his room.

As he sat on the bed, taehyung sat beside him.

"Would you like to eat something?"
He asked hoping to get an answer.

But jungkook shook his head.
That's when Taehyung saw that jungkook was sweating a lot too.
So he got up to grab some towels.
But jungkook grabbed his hand.

"Pl-ease don't leave me"
Jungkook said holding onto his hand for dear life.

"I was not going to jungkook"
He was taken aback but he sat back down at the corner of the bed.

He pulled a handkerchief out of his pocket.
When he neared jungkook to wipe his forehead, he initially jerked but relaxed when he saw Taehyung.

"I know this is all too much for you to take in right now but jungkook can you please tell me what exactly happened and why were you even there?"

Jungkook straightened himself, his head resting on the bed.
"I-- I got a message. A message from Jimin.
He needed help. I was worried so I went to the address he provided."

Taehyung continued to swipe the sweat off his face but stopped after hearing jimin's name.

"Did you find jimin there?"
He asked.

"N-o I didn't find him there. I looked for him but then i found t-he t-he bo-dyy.
I was scared Taehyung, I t-hought, I thought that it was a dead b-ody."
Jungkook stated.

Taehyung clenched his jaw, he was right.

"I n-eed to check on him Taehyung. I still don't know where he is or if he is in trouble."
Jungkook said and starting searching for his phone.

"I need to c-all ji-"

"NO! "
Taehyung said stopping jungkook.

"But Taehy-"

" I will go and check on him. You don't need to worry about him. Please just rest okay"
He said assuring Jungkook.

"I will be right back."

Jungkook looked at him worried as he walked out of the room.

The door broke wide open, jimin looked unfazed though, he sat there stuffing his mouth with cheese puffs.

"You sent him there right?"
Taehyung said.

"That's not a very decent way to enter someone's house taehyung, I must say"
Jimin said stuffing another puff into his mouth.

Taehyung took big steps towards him pulling him by his collar.
