After they stood up, y/n and shizue looked around, but all they saw was a hallway to go down
Gilgamesh: I guess we go down the hallway?
Shizue: *nods* It seems so
They started walking down the hallway for what felt like forever but never reaching the end, which confused them with y/n remembering the trick, so he stopped, which caught shizues' attention
Shizue: Something the matter Gilgamesh?
Gilgamesh: Doesn't it feel weird that we walk around so much and we just come back to the same spot?
Shizue: *nods* Now that you mention it, it feels like we are being fooled into continuing walking like this for some odd reason.
Gilgamesh: I-
Suddenly, they heard giggling in their mind from what they thought was a child
Gilgamesh/Shizue: (A child?)
???: Are you afraid?
Shizue: *serious* We didn't come her to play we came because I have a problem with a spirit inside of me, and we need the spirit queen to help
There was silence only for the room to change to another ancient looking room, though this time there was no long hallway, it was only a fairy looking creature
???: *goes around shizue fast confusing them* Well, what do you know! I knew I saw you somewhere, but it's your spirit that Leon got!
Shizue and y/n were shocked that she knew him but regained their composure and looked at the fairy with y/n asking
Gilgamesh: Are you the queen of spirits?
???: *nods proudly* YUP! I am the queen of the labyrinth, queen of spirits, and a demon lord, but you can call me ramris!
Shizue: I see then could you help me get rid of iffrit from me, he and I never get along...
Ramris: Usually, I wouldn't do this for free, but you came down a passage way that I would grant any wish to the person or people that did. So is that your wish?
Shizue: *nods* Yes!
Gilgamesh: *looks at ramris* My wish is to have us be given the chance to get a spirit each.
While Ramris nodded, shizue looked shocked at his wish
Ramris: *nods* I see.... Alright, then come here so I can remove him.
Shizue nods and approaches her, which, when she is finally in front of her ramris, touches her forehead, which makes the whole room glow for a moment only to subside a moment later with shizue feeling like a weight on her Soldiers was finally gone
Shizue: *smiles* (I-I finally am free from this curse!) Thank you, ramris-san
Ramris puffs her cheeks out, liking the respect, but stop a minute later, and takes them to the dwelling of spirits for y/ns wish
Once there, they saw a blue glowing ground, a gigantic room that looked majestic
Ramris: Now head to the middle, and you will have a chance to summon one, but be warned if they don't see you as interesting, they will not come.
Y/N and shizue nod and head to the middle, which, while walking, shizue asks
Shizue: Why do you want us to get a spirit?
Gilgamesh: Well, you will need one, and unlike iffrit, this one will bond with you, which will have good intentions, unlike how iffrit was forced bonded to you.
Shizue nodded while thinking
Shizue: *walking beside y/n* (He is right... if I want to continue adventuring, I will need as much power as I can get, or I will just be a burden for everyone)
When they finally got there, they stood thinking about who should go first
Gilgamesh: You want to go first, or should I?
Shizue: How about you go first since this was all thanks to you.
Gilgamesh: *nods* Alright, wish me luck!
Y/N breathed in and out and walked to the center of the platform. He looked up for a moment only to get on his knees and go in a prayer stance
Gilgamesh: (If any spirits hear my prayer come to me so I can get stronger to protect the people I care for!)
For a moment, nothing happened, only a moment later, a dark presence started to form, and out of the darkness, a dark spirit came out, which surprised ramris, who was watching from afar shocking her a superior spirit actually came out
(Darkness spirit= DS)
DS: *stands up* Are you thy one who summoned me from the depths of thy darkness?
After a moment of silence, y/n stood up, smirking at his good luck
Gilgamesh: Yes, I did. Will you make a contract with me?
The dark spirit appeared to be in thought, but when he looked at y/n, he saw unlimited potential that could benefit him to grow stronger, so he responded, saying
DS: I kurai accept thy contract from this moment we are in a contract!
After saying that, the dark spirit entered him, establishing a contract and a link to the soul
When he regained his composure, he looked at shizue, which she nodded, and headed to the middle while he gave her space
Shizue: *gets down in a prayer pose* (If any spirits hear me, I want to protect people from the cruelty from this world if you would be kind enough to grant me your power)
After a moment, another spirit, this time of light, appeared and stood up, looking at the one who summoned him
(Light spirit= LS)
LS: Are you the one who summoned me?
Shizue: Y-yes, that's me! (I didn't think it would work)
LS: Well, my name is Hikari, I responded to your summons because of your request to protect everyone. Do you accept the contract?
Shizue: I do!
Hikari nods and goes into her body, thus creating the contract and being in her soul while ramris is dumbfounded on how superior spirits were summoned
TIMESKIP
Once they got bearings, they headed back to ramris, which once their ramris looked at them with an emotionless look,
Ramris: How do BOTH OF YOU GET SUPERIOR SPIRITS THAT EASILY WHEN THOSE TYPES SHOULD BE THE HARDEST
They both recoiled, but after a second shrugged, in unison
Gilgamesh: I don't know. I guess we are just that lucky.
Ramris: *Calms down and sighs* I guess there is no other explanation, but I am going to give you my blessing.
Shizue: What for ramris-San?
Ramris: Since you both summoned spirits, which are requirements for being true heroes, you would also need my blessing, so I will just do it now.
They both nodded, seeing the reasoning which they both came close, and after a glow appeared in the cave, she took her hands off their heads
Ramris: There! Now, if you ever obtain a hero egg, all you will need to do is hatch it!
Both nodded after hearing it and started heading out of the cave to head back to their lives of adventuring
