The Date & Promise

I decided in that dress and heels. I told tim the color and he picked his outfit

I heard a knock on the door just as I finished putting on my heels. I opened the door to Tim. He looked so handsome and put together. He stood there in what looked like shock.
Tim's POV
I saw the door open to drop dead gorgeous Lucy, as if she isn't always, in a beautiful dress and heels. I was in awe of her.
Tim: you look... wow...
Lucy: is that good? i can change?
Tim: no, it's beautiful
Lucy: thanks
she blushed a little. I saw Daisy come running up to me and give me a hug.
Tim: Hi Daisy! you both look so pretty
Daisy: thank you Tim!
She jumped into my arms and I picked her up.
Tim: ready to go?
Lucy: yup
I gave her a smile and she locked the door behind us on the way out. I opened the door to my truck for her and buckled Daisy in. I then got in and started driving to the restaurant.
Lucy: so, where are we going
Tim: some newer restaurant closer to the city
Lucy: sounds fun!
Tim: I hope you two like it
Lucy: i'm sure we will
Daisy: I will!
Tim: thanks Daisy
we talked to Daisy about her day at school and our days and work when we arrived at the restaurant. I opened there doors for them and Daisy was on my left side in my arm while Lucy and I held hands walking inside the restaurant. I opened the door for her and we headed inside.
Lucy: it's beautiful in here
Tim: I thought you'd like it
we headed to our reserved seats and we ordered our drinks.
Lucy: i'll have a French Martini please
Tim: and i'll have a scotch
Lucy: Daisy what do you want to drink?
Daisy: can I please have apple juice?
Tim: sir, do you have apple juice
waiter: yes we do
Tim: ok can we have an apple juice too please?
Waiter: coming right up sir
Tim: thank you
The waiter walked away
Lucy's POV
Tim: I didn't know you drank
Lucy: not really, Inhave a few beers here and there and when I'm out somewhere fancy, I look at the best sounding drink and get it to seem classy
Tim: smart tactic, makes people think we're fancier than we are
Lucy: exactly, and i've had a french martini before, the pineapple juice with the hint of raspberry is so good
Tim: i'll have to try it sometime
Lucy: try some of mine when it gets here, it'll be the best decision you've ever made
Tim: the best decision i ever made was telling you I love you
Lucy: aww, who knew Tim was such a softy
Tim: Hey, I know you're here Daisy, so this is why I want to do this with the both of you here
Lucy: what is it?
Tim: you two, have made my life so much better than i ever thought my life could be. I love you both more than words could ever express. And I know, Lucy, we haven't decided labels yet, but i would love it if you would be my girlfriend. If you're not ready for that, or don't want that, I totally understand.
Lucy: of course I'll be your girlfriend Tim!
I kissed him, i was so happy, everything was finally going right
Tim: with that, I promise to always be by your side whenever you need me Lucy. I promise to be there for you Daisy. And I just want you two to be happy, so I promise to try and always make sure you both are. I will support you two, with whatever you need whenever.
Daisy: I love you Tim!
Tim: I love you too Daisy
she gave Tim a big hug and he kissed her forehead.
Lucy: Tim
Tim: yeah?
Lucy: i'd like that a lot. And I promise to be here for you too
Tim kissed me and I kissed him back. The waiter came back with our drinks and I let him try mine.
Tim: you're right, this is really good
Lucy: I told you!
Daisy: can I try?
Lucy: it's a grown up drink princess, but as soon as you're old enough, yes you can.
Daisy: yay!
Tim and I laughed and we just all talked. We ordered our food and ate. It was a great night and I never want this to end. Eventually l, it did this go. Tim payed and Daisy and I thanked him. We got into his truck and headed back to my apartment.
Lucy: Daisy, I know Tim's here, but it's time for your bed time
Daisy: aww but I miss Tim
Lucy: why don't we give you a bath and you can relax with Tim before bed, only if you're okay with that Tim.
Tim: of course, and if you and your mom is ok with it, maybe I can help tuck you in
Daisy: yay! please mama?
Lucy: of course, now let's get your bath started
we gave Daisy a quick bath and I lowered her hair. She wanted it in one braid so I braided it for her. Tim and I tucked her in and said goodnight.
We shut the door almost all the way behind us.
Lucy: could you stay a while longer?
Tim: i'd love too
Lucy: I feel bad, you don't have any clothes to change into. Actually, I think I accidentally grabbed some of your clothes from the laundry pile. I was supposed to give the to you today but forgot. See
I held up a shirt and pants of his
Tim: it's fine, i'll go home and shower later anyways
Lucy: you could shower here you know
Tim: I don't want to take away any more of your time
Lucy: well we could save time if we showered together
Tim: are you ready for that Lucy
Lucy: yeah Tim, only if you are
Tim: I am
we both changed out of our fancy clothes and got into the shower

*once again trying to keep it pg so they did the yk and yeah*

I changed into some shorts and a baggy shirt. Tim changed into the clothes I had accidentally grabbed.
Tim: I love you Lucy
Lucy: I love you Tim
I kissed him and we cuddled on my bed. Eventually, Tim had to get up and leave because of work.
Lucy: bye Tim, see you tomorrow
Tim: bye Lucy
we kissed goodnight and I shut the door behind him. Today had to have been the best day ever.
Tim's POV
today had to be one of the best days ever. I got to see Lucy at work, saw her and Daisy, took them out to dinner, Lucy's now my girlfriend, and we love each other. I drove home and got into bed. I was looking forward to seeing her tomorrow, but I can't be in her chain of command really. I'll have to talk to Grey...
