NEVE'S POV Thursday, October 24, 2022
NEVE HAS STARTED TO think of the clinic as her second home. It was sort of exhausting of how many times she had to come here.
But she never stayed too tired long once she sees Willow's face, her eyes meeting hers where Neve smiles and Willow returns the gesture.
"Did you just smile at me?" Neve asks, leaning against the receptionist desk with eyebrows raised.
"I think in simpler tense, you could say that I smiled back." Willow responds, "I didn't initiate anything."
Neve rolls her eyes, "One day I'm going to get you to just agree with me."
"No one can make me do anything." Willow replies as Neve shrugs her shoulders in response.
"And you got to stop pointing out how often I smile at you." Willow adds on, "Because it really shouldn't be that surprising anymore."
"You're right, especially after that love confession from yesterday."
"I don't have time for this." Willow comments,
"You definitely do since we're about to be together for an hour." Neve states, smiling smugly about the fact.
"But that won't be for another five minutes since Dr. Caddel is with another client of hers." Willow responds,
Neve shrugs her shoulders, "So basically we have an hour and five minutes together."
Willow shakes her head as she works on something on the computer, "I have paperwork to do so please, go sit until Dr. Caddel is ready for you."
"You know what, I will." Neve says, "Because I'm feeling really compassionate today."
"Oh how sweet of you." Willow says, smiling softly as she continues to type things in.
And Neve did as she said and waited until Dr. Caddel was ready for her which didn't take long and neither did their session which went faster than usual.
"Okay, I'll see you tomorrow, Neve." Dr. Caddel says, waving goodbye as she leaves after Neve bids her a farewell.
"Hey, who's picking you up?" Willow asks, glancing over at Neve as she helps put the equipment away.
"Dyani, why?"
"Are you guys going back to the university?"
"Yeah, the dorms are where I sleep."
Willow ignored her snide comment, "Do you think Dyani can give me a ride there too?"
"I don't see why not if we're going to the same place." Neve says, placing her crutches under her arms.
"Thank you but ask them." Willow says, walking out of the room as Neve followed.
