NEVE COULDN'T help but think about yesterday and how Willow consoled her while she cried and how she couldn't deny the small pit of embarrassment building up in her.
"Are you okay?" Indra asks, glancing over at Neve before focusing his attention back on the road.
"Yeah, just out of it. Tired." Neve comments, her mind just thinking about how she will have to see Willow again in just five minutes.
"You sure?" He asks, Neve just muttering in response.
"Is it about yesterday?" Indra asks, causing Neve to whip her head towards his direction swiftly.
"What about yesterday?"
"Not being able to participate with your teammates?" Indra says with raised eyebrows, "Or did something else happen yesterday?"
Neve clears her throat, "No, you're right. It was about not being able to play." She says, leaving out the information that she couldn't help but feel like she was a failure.
Indra nods his head, "I kind of figured at lunch yesterday." He says, "I'm sure you don't want to talk about it but I'm always here for you whenever you do."
Neve just smiles smally at him, "Thank you, I appreciate it."
Indra just hums in response, "Of course."
Soon enough their short conversation gets way much shorter as he pulls up to the clinic and Neve could only feel herself curl up internally as she imagined seeing Willow again.
"Are you sure that's it? Is your leg causing more pain or anything?" Indra asks, "Did you take your medication?"
"Yes, I'm sure I'm fine. Just tired and yes I did take my medication." Neve responds, "Thank you for driving me here." She says, beginning to get out of the car.
Indra just waves her off, "Don't worry about it." He says, "Do you need a ride back too?"
Neve nods her head, "Yeah, Dyani is going to be busy with work later."
"Okay, just call me later." He says, waving as he begins to back out, "Love you."
"Love you too." Neve replies, waving back at him as the car eventually pulls off.
Neve could only look at the departing car and the impending clinic before she took a deep breath and began to enter inside.
As always, Willow was the first person she saw and she could only hope that she wouldn't bring it up.
