Chapter 12: New Element

Tony; thanks, dad.

Wade: no side effects as well.

Jarvis: unfortunately, it is impossible to synthesize.

Tony: uh-huh. Get ready for a major remodel, fellas! We're back in hardware mode.

Tony and Wade got to work as they started to sledgehammer a wall creating a hole, Tony drills a hole to get to a fusebox under the floor, and connect some wires to it. They jack hammered down to the workshop throwing some wires down. Wade brought a crate and opened it as Tony got some metal pipes out as Wade required Bobbi's help and she helped.

They each connected them as Phil entered the workshop.

Phil: I heard you broke the perimeter.

Bobbi: I was with them.

Tony: we did. That was, like, three years ago. Where you been?

Phil: I was doing some stuff.

Tony; yeah, well, us, too, and it worked. Hey, we're playing for the home team, Coulson, you and all your Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers. Now, are you gonna let us work or break my balls?

Phil takes out a frisbee like item with half a star surrounded by blue, white, and red circles with blue being the closest to the star, then followed up by white and red. It looked like it was made from scraps.

Phil; what's this doing here?

Tony; that's it. Bring that to me.

Phil: you know what this is?

Tony: It's exactly what I need to make this work. Wade, lift the coil.

Wade walked over as he lifted the coil as Tony but the big disc under it.

Tony: <puts a balancer on top of the coils> perfectly level. We're busy. What do you want?

Phil: nothing. Goodbye. I've been reassigned.

Tony: huh.

Phil: Director Fury wants me in New Mexico.

Tony: fantastic. Land of Enchantment.

Phil: so I'm told.

Tony: secret stuff?

Phil: something like that.

Tony; good luck. Bye. <shakes his hand>

Phil: thanks. We need you. Both of you.

Tony: Yeah, more than you know.

Phil: you not that much but Wade yeah. Agent Morse. <leaves>

Bobbi: bye, Phil.

Tony: ok. We're almost ready. Wade, go take a break.

Wade: ok.

Wade went upstairs as Bobbi followed.

Bobbi: Wade, wait. We need to talk.

Wade: about what?

Bobbi; about us.

Wade: Bobbi-

Bobbi: how about a sparring match?

Wade: a what?

Bobbi: sparing match.

Wade: I don't have any training.

Bobbi; then I'll teach you.

Wade and Bobbi went to what was left of the gym as they both took their shoes off.
