As soon as they were home from the meet gone wrong Alexa raced to the loft to find Derek alive and well. The girl couldn't be more happy especially after she tried to jump off the roof, she needed some hope to keep her going.
Alexa and Derek spent the next few days together healing while not leaving each other's side. Now the couple was sitting at the loft cuddling on the couch when they were so rudely interrupted by Peter.
"Hello nephew and crazy pants I'm so glad to see you both alive." Peter said walking into the loft eliciting a groan from Alexa.
"Yes please come in and ruin our relaxation Peter." Alexa said sarcastically as she sat up.
"Don't mind if I do." Peter replied with his usual demeanor.
"What are you doing here Peter." Derek huffed out.
"Well considering you almost died and Alexa here tried to attempt flying I figured I'd come see how you were." Peter said and Alexa laughed at the comment he made about her little roof incident Derek gave her a look for it.
"What that was kind of funny." she said to her boyfriend as she threw her hands up.
"You almost died." Derek deadpanned.
"True but I didn't and I only know how to cope with humor." Alexa said with a shrug.
"Guys did you notice this?" Peter said pointing at the window which was marked with the alpha pack symbol.
"No." Derek grumbled as Cora walked in.
"What does it mean?" Cora asked.
"It means they're coming..." Derek answered with a cold demeanor.
"Tonight." Peter finished.
Alexa felt her body heat up with anger as her crimson red eyes flashed holding in color earning attention from the people she had begun calling family who weren't aware of her new status.
"Nice eyes. Red suits you." Peter said with a smirk as Derek looked at his girlfriend confused but quickly noticed.
"Alexa....." Derek trailed off in worry.
"What happened?!" He finished.
"When Lola "killed" you I lost it and I got my revenge." Alexa said with a shrug as she let her eyes become her natural blue again.
