"The bearers of the four elements are called Vishra, Aria. We, are the Vishra's." Sagot ng babaeng kulay green ang buhok.
At saka.. ang gaganda nila. Dahil sa pasikat na ang araw ay medyo maliwanag na ang paligid, naaaninagan ko ang mga maaamong mukha nila saka ang mga kutis nilang parang niligo ng pulbo dahil sa puti at kinis nito. Ang mga buhok na mas matingkad dahil sa dumadapong sinag ng araw sa kanila. At ang pinaka nakakahanga, ay ang mga mata nilang kakulay ng mga buhok nila ngunit hindi gaanong matingkad gaya nung paggamit ng berdeng buhok sa kapangyarihan nya kanina.
Nang makapasok na sa gate ay napapahanga parin ako sa lawak ng palasyo. Ang ganda din ng fountain sa gitna ng entrada.
And at the entrance of the palace, there stood an old woman wearing all white, from her white earrings, to her heels.
"We're at the Academy and that's Headmistress Franchesca." Red haired girl whispered.
"Carte ecum muebre, Vishra's and the two of you." (Welcome back, Bearers and the two of you.)
She greeted them and then she looked at me and then smiled sweetly. "Carte ecum so Fantasia, Vishra Aero."
Kanina pa sila nagsasalita sa lenggwaheng hindi ko alam kung ano ang ibig sabihin.
Tumalikod ang headmistress saka kami sumunod sa kaniya. May kaunting mga estudyante na sa paligid na tumitingin sa direksyon namin. Siguro nagtataka kung sino ako.
"My students faced hardships just to take you, Aria. I'm glad you didn't took their lives because if you did, we'll take you not as our student anymore, but as a criminal." Headmistress said as we ascend to the stairs.
I secretly rolled my eyes. "I've got a diploma to take but you interrupted my studies and now I'm here. I have a favor unreturned."
"I see."
Katahimikan ang namayani sa'min habang naglalakad sa hallway na walang estudyante ang dumadaan. Nang nasa tapat na ng isang pinto ay humarap ang headmistress sa'min at saka tinignan ang lima.
"You may now go and rest, thank you." She said and then when they left, she looked at me.
Binuksan niya ang pinto saka kami pumasok. Pinaupo niya ako sa harap ng mesa niya saka siya umupo sa kanyang upuan.
Her office almost looked so empty kung hindi lang dahil sa mga librong nasa shelf, iilang mga halaman, at mesa n'ya na tanging laman ng office n'ya.
"Alam mo ba ang tunay na rason kung bakit ka nandito, Aria?" Seryoso na ang mukha n'ya ngayon.
She's looking at me intently in the eyes na para bang sinusuri ang buong pagkatao ko, pati ang kaluluwa ko. I averted my gaze dahil sa hindi ko kinakaya ang mga titig n'ya.
"Hindi." I answered shortly, looking at my clasped hands to avoid her gaze.
"Alam kong marami kang katanungan kung bakit kailangan na kailangan ka naming kunin sa mundo ng mga mortal, Aria. But the people of Aero Kingdom will be in chaos if the inheritor of the throne isn't around."
She stood up and then went to one of her shelves. "You, as the bearer of one of the elements, will be given a big responsibility in this realm, the four of you to be exact."
Pinadaanan ng naka gloves n'yang kamay ang mga libro. May hinahanap.
"What..?"
She then looked at me. "You are the descendant of Queen Ereya, Aria. The next to the throne of Aero Kingdom."
"A-ano? Pa'no nangyari 'yon?" I stuttered as I cannot believe what headmistress have told me.
"I wish I have enough time telling you the whole story of how this all happened." May kinuha s'yang isang lumang makapal na libro saka ito binuklat.
Saka s'ya tumingin sa'kin at dahan-dahang lumapit. "You are bound to rule, Aria. You are powerful. And here in the Academy, you will be trained to be more powerful." Then, she handed me the book.
Matapos ang pag-uusap namin ay may tinawag s'yang isang estudyante para dalhin ako sa dormitoryo na tutuluyan ko. Nang nasa tapat na kami ng pinto ay kinatok n'ya ito at saka ako iniwan.
"Aria." Iyong babaeng kulay berde ang buhok. Makakasama ko pala s'ya sa iisang bubong.
Nang makapasok ay mukhang hindi lang pala s'ya ang makakasama ko. Kundi silang tatlo. Iyong kulay asul at pula ang buhok.
Really. These people are intimidating as hell. Even me, kahit n'ong paa pa lamang ang nakita ko sa kanila noong nahimatay ako ay ramdam ko ang lakas nila. Lalo na iyong babaeng kulay asul ang buhok na titig pa lamang ay nakakapanghina na dahil ramdam mo ang lakas ng titig na iyon.
"Umupo ka muna." She then led me to the sofa where the two are looking at me. One smiling innocently, while the other one? Uhm. Nevermind.
Nang tuluyan nang makaupo ay tumabi s'ya sa'kin. Bale magkatabi kami nung berde ang buhok at nasa tapat namin ang dalawa pa.
"Let me introduce myself first. I'm Grise," pakilala n'ya sa sarili. "She's Solace and Asteria." Turo n'ya sa babaeng pula ang buhok at sa katabi nitong kulay asul ang buhok. "And we'll be living the same roof for as long as we're here."
"Uhm.."
"Yes?" She faced me with a smiling face. Mukhang kung may itatanong ako ay sasagutin n'ya ako sa kung ano ang kaya n'yang sagutin.
"How do I go back home?" I asked flatly.
Damn. Para namang imposible talaga na may malaki akong papel dito sa mundo nila. All I know is I belong here pero hindi ko inakala na may mas malaki pang responsibilidad na naghihintay sa'kin dito. Ni hindi ko nga alam kung anong kaharian ang paghaharian ko.
"That's a no-no." Grise answered.
"Just accept the fact that you are needed here. Go to your room and read that book given to you by the headmistress." Wari naman ni Asteria habang nagbabasa ng libro.
"I'll just get my snack." Grise excused.
I just stared at her, wondering how much power she has that even her voice screams power. Napansin n'ya yata na nakatitig ako sa kanya kaya isinarado n'ya ang libro at tinignan ako. Dead in the eye.
"And be ready. You'll be introduced to the four kingdoms the day after tomorrow. It will be held here in the Academy." With that, she stood up and went upstairs to the first room from the stairs.
"Upstairs. Last room." Solace said, then also went upstairs.
Sumunod ako kay Solace saka tumungo sa simabi n'ya na magiging kuwarto ko. The room's doors are designed with glowing stones that symbolizes the element of the owner of the room, I guess? The first room is Asteria's, the second one is Solace's, the third one is Grise's and the fouth one? The stone is not glowing. I guess because it's empty and none is occupying the room.
Pansin ko lang din, walang door knob ang mga pinto. Itinulak ko ito pero hindi naman bumubukas. Parang naka lock.
"Our rooms are very secured, you know." Muntikan na akong mapatalon nang may magsalita. It's Grise. Nakasandal s'ya sa dingding habang ngumunguya ng tsitsirya. "Touch that stone and let your essence flow through it. Then, mabubuksan mo na ang room mo."
"Our rooms cannot be opened from the outside kung nasa loob ka. But, if you aren't inside, the door will automatically locks itself. Only you can access your room. Just do the same thing, use your essence to unlock it." She added. And after that, she went inside her room.
