Damon and Yvette arrived at the Grill again. Caroline, fast on their trail, demanded to know why Damon took her.

"We have more important things to focus on right now, Caroline," Yvette told the blonde vampire, pointing her head at Katherine who was in a booth at the furthest corner from the entrance, her face covered by a newspaper.

Caroline rolled her eyes. "Her disguise is pathetic."

Yvette nodded with a small chuckle. "You'll come with me, Caroline." She turned to Damon. "Get Elena and Rose away from here before someone notices that there are two Elenas."

"I'm only doing this cause I don't want to talk to Katherine," Damon told Yvette.

Yvette gave him a fake smile and he returned it, mockingly her before he left. "Fool," she muttered to herself with a smile when he left, making Caroline giggle.

She gave Yvette a dramatic sigh before she spoke. "Let's go to the she-devil's table."

Yvette rolled her eyes in amusement. "What else is there to do?" Yvette asked as she walked towards Katherine.

"Literally anything else," Caroline told her, starting to walk as well.

Yvette went to Katherine's table, her expression neutral as she pulled out a chair for Caroline and herself.

Yvette sat across from Katherine and Caroline right beside Yvette. Katherine and Yvette looked at each other, each daring the other to speak.

"You know what I want," Yvette told Katherine. "Will you give it to me, or do I have to pry it from your bloodied, dead hands?"

Katherine smirked, "Straight to point, always liked that about you."

"Why would a liar like plain honesty?" Caroline asked, glaring at the other vampire.

"I don't expect you to understand," Katherine told her, a smirk dancing on her lips.

Yvette rolled her eyes. "I do not care about that. Will you give me what I want?"

"I'll give you the moonstone, but only if you promise to keep me safe from Klaus," Katherine stated firmly.

Caroline's eyes widened. "You can't do that!"

However, Yvette's lips curled into a smirk. "Sounds like a fair deal."

"I need to make sure you won't double cross me," Katherine told her, matter-of-factly.

"Poor kitty," Yvette taunted, "are you scared?"

"I've told you my conditions," Katherine told Yvette, forcing a smile.

Yvette rolled her eyes but nodded her head. "What do you want?"

"A blood contract."

Yvette glared at the doppelganger. "How wise." With that, she gave Katherine her palm and Katherine bit it before doing the same to her palm. Yvette put her palm on Katherine's, their blood mingling as they shook hands, sealing their agreement.

"When he comes to town, I will protect you from Niklaus," Katherine looked at her, her eyes telling Yvette to continue. Yvette sighed and rolled her eyes. "As long as I am physically able to, however when he leaves town, the contract will expire."

Katherine's eyes widened, retracting her palm. "That wasn't the deal."

"You've already been running for five hundred years, I do not intend to free you from that."

Katherine glared at the spectramorph. "I won't give you the moonstone."

"I could always just let Kol kill you." Yvette smirked back.
