Jackson stopped listening after 'You're not my friend' he didn't know why, but those words coming from her mouth kind of stung. He knew they weren't friends, they were just classmates, yet it didn't seem quite right.

It was now Friday and time to leave, it being five in the morning, no one wanted to be there. The team had their uniform on, it was a dark navy blue uniform, with the name of each person on the back of their jacket and on their sleeve sewn in silver thread.

"Alright guys, so as you can see we have the school's very, very small van so we fit just right with Isabella and the luggage. The last seats over there will be taken up by luggage. But feel free to sit down wherever you want in the remaining seats" Mr Martin made sure there were indeed six children before letting them all on the van

"We don't have a chauffeur today, I will be driving and don't know the route very well, plus having a van and the normal route being closed it'll take longer." The coach continued as he helped them put their luggage in the back

"How much longer sir?" Beatrice asked as she sat down beside Valeria

"Instead of being one hour and a half or so it should take about four hours. The detour is what takes up most of our time" The coach hadn't finished his sentence and the people on the van were already complaining

There were three sets of chairs available, two sets in the first row and one in the second row. Beatrice and Valeria were sat in the first row, right in front of where Isabella and Charlotte sat. The boys sat down in the last set of seats there was.

"Alright, we're ready to go. Good trip everyone!" Mr Martin said before he began driving

Isabella

This is a great opportunity to embarrass Jackson. Or maybe just to find out chisme (gossip)... Actually, I should just get to know her. Eh I'll just see how the conversation goes

"Is your last name Power now?" Isabella asked the girl sitting right next to her as she saw the name on the sleeve

"What? Oh, no, it's- He had to lend me an uniform" Charlotte shook her head

"Not that I would mind you having the same last name as us, whether it's because of him or me. I mean Charlotte Power sounds great." Isabella shrugged

Charlotte awkwardly laughed as her face became red.

Maybe they're both just as awkward and that's why none of them have ever made a move.

Isabella was a lot more open than Jackson was, more perceptive too and she was much more of a flirt than her brother, he was just a clumsy awkward mess.

"It's not like that, we're classmates is all" Charlotte said looking over at Isabella

Well at least it's better than saying 'he's just a friend', or maybe it's worse. I don't even know anymore. Maybe they're just so focused on hating each other they don't see anything else

Charlotte

Now that she was paying more attention to Isabella than she did last time, she could hear a bit of an accent. It wasn't very noticeable but it was still there. After detailing for a few more seconds, she spotted one of the hearing aids, it was hidden by her hair.
