Next day when I woke up he was not there with me, I guess he woke even earlier than me. I was getting ready when he came in all sweaty. I looked at him through mirror and without breaking eye contact he made his way towards and stood behind me, he took sindoor from sindoor dani and without breaking eye contact he filled the parting of my hair with sindoor (vermilion). Keeping his hands on my both shoulder.
''Ajse roz hum aapki maang mein sindoor bharenge.'' He said nodding his head and looking through mirror.
Translation: from today onwards I will fill your hair partition.
''Ji.'' I said.
Translation: Yes.
He went to get ready for the day and today is my Pehli Rasoi. Yesterday maa told me about how everything works in this house. I decided to make gajar ka halwa in sweet, aloo paratha, avocado toast, orange juice, aloo sabji and kachori, and paneer sandwich.
