Author Pov

This was the time when Ruhanika was not able to decide what to say...she was getting the flashback of that night when they broke up

The reason behind it was not even a proper reason, she never told her parents about her relationship, it was her overthinking mind who made her do all this.

And Aryan was feeling worthless..his mind was predicting that she must have broke up because he didn't know how to love her or maybe he didn't deserve to be loved. He decided to ask her again about the reason. He looked towards her eyes  and said helplessly

"I..I am worthless that....that's why you are not able to give me the reason.. maybe I failed to love yo-" he was saying but she interrupted..

"I...was a coward...I...I am a coward...I...I ruined everything because I...I was a coward," she said and covered her face with her palms and burst out in tears

"Coward??...what do you mean by coward" he asked while looking towards her face which she covered with her hands

He removed her hands from her face and wiped her tears, he was not able to understand what she meant but her crying eyes were piercing through his soul

"Baby please say it clearly...I..I want to know about it... please" he said and a lone tear escaped from his eyes

She looked towards him with her teary eyes, her lips were wobbly...she didn't know what was going to happen next ... How will he react when he gets to know the reason behind it.

But him thinking himself as a worthless man...as an unworthy man who doesn't deserve love was shattering her soul

She took a deep breath preparing herself to face the reality which she didn't want to accept. She nodded her head and said

"Yes...Aryan ..I..I was a coward..you...you know I..I never wanted to end it... I..I didn't even thought of ending us..but...but I was helpless..I...I can't explain you my situation...I...I don't know what exactly to tell you...I...I don't know please.." she said and burst out in tears

"When you didn't wanted to end it then why did you end it there must be some reason for it.... please love tell me the reason for leaving me so cruelly..." Aryan said and a lone tear escaped from his eyes. She wiped his tears and held his hands in her's and said

"Aryan...you know..I..I am an elder daughter of my..my family and my parents trusted me more than anyone else.....and ...and I know that my parents will never accept a love marriage that's why I used to cage my feelings... but...but...I...I.. don't know how I fell in love with you.....I...I am sorry I..I ruined everything"

"But..but  I..I swear I never loved anyone...you ...you was the only one in my heart...in my mind...in my soul..there..there was not even a single day when I didn't craved for you ....and...and you know when...I..I told about our breakup to Nisha...she ..she said that I should forget you but... only I know what was going on inside me.."

Aryan was silently listening to her...he was thinking that he never got love from his parents... he never felt the love which he should get from his parents and here she left him for her parents..for the pride of her parents which he ruined. But he didn't wanted to interrupt her...so her let her speak without interruption
