CHAPTER TWENTY-THREE

I woke up after some time and  went downstairs to see the living room wrecked and maids cleaning it up. Probably Jackson. Do you know where
everyone is? I asked one of the maids. Mr Woods office she answered and I thanked her retracing my steps. I opened the door quietly and was shocked at what I saw. A bruised up Octavian,an angry Jackson, mom,and papa standing over Jackson. Jackson looked like he wanted to pounce on Octavian.  Papa and mom looked at me and shrugged. What happened I asked quietly  and everyone froze. Papa and Jackson glanced at me and but Ifixed my gaze on octavian who looked like he was avoiding my gaze. I sank into the nearest couch and analysed everything. Jackson had attacked Octavian and papa had to hold him down. I went over to the floor next to Jackson and papa raised a brow. I pried his clenched fists open and whispered  come on Jackie,calm down take in deep breaths. He calmed down after a bit and i rested my head on his chest. Why were you so angry? I asked quietly f-f-uc-ker al-al-a-almost k-kill-killed you he mumbled and I sighed. So you thought it neccessary to do this? I asked gesturing to his face. He-he d-des-s-served more -more he muttered and I sighed. Why was he angry anyways? Why were you angry? I asked Octavian and his head snapped to me. He raised his head and started signing.I do not want to get attacked again that is why I am signing he started.Octavian I started no no wait he interrupted. I just iI thought Jackson was mocking me and I got angry and just took it out on you and i feel so sorry cause I triggered a panic attack and almost killed you and I am very sorry. Papa and Jackson scoffed at this and Octavian turned to them. We understand sign too papa said and he looked so shocked I burst into laughter.I-i re-rea-ly am s-so-so-rry  he said again and I waved him off. It's fine you didn't mean it I shrugged.Jackson gripped me tightly and I raised a brow. let's get you an icepack mom said to Octavian and he followed her outside the office. Seriously?! papa burst out and I stared at him what? I asked in confusion. J-ju-just l-like t-t-th-at? Jackson added. What? He almost killed you papa said and you just forgive him?Ok I doubt I would have di.ed I said and they stared at me like I was crazy. You-you-you co-coul-could not br-brea-b-b-breathe Jackson said and you are asthmatic papa added. I've had more serious ones I muttered. Besides, he did not mean it. He just got angry. And you hurt him enough as it is. He-he-he was t-t-r-t-t-try-ing to ki-kill you. I really doubt that I said he literally saved me. So-so d-d-id L-l-aw-rence he mumbled and I glared at him. He is not like that I argued.Jackson papa warned. Both of us were standing now. H-h-how w-wo-ould y-you kn-know? I do know cause I know Octavian. Y-you th-thou-ght y-y-you kn-knew h-him t-too b-u-but y-you d-di-did not he-he fucking ...JACKSON! papa thundered that is enough. No continue he fucking did what I asked poking him in the chest. He fucking abused me Jackson.Eight I was eight how was I suppossed to know? Eight fucking years I was abused you were there for six of those years yet you could not do anything probably because you  did not know. He met me twice and did not hesitate to jump in and save me. So Jackson I do know I was eight then but I am sixteen now I said and stormed to the door. Mom and Octavian were standing at the entrance staring at me. I walked past them and into one of the rooms before climbing up to the roof.

Jackson pov
Seriously? Mom said angrily. You just had to say that? You just implied it was her fault she was abused. Because she was gullible. Jackson she was eight she muttered. She was a child who trusted her father and was betrayed. Abused Jackson abused and you just go and rub it in her face mom seethed. That's not what I meant I signed dejectedly. Well you did a horrible job at communicating your thoughts she snapped and I groaned putting my face in my hands. For the r-r-rec-record,I am n-not lik-like t-hat m-ma-man Octavian said and I glared at him. I h-ha-have t-t-to f-fi-fi-fix t-th-is I mumbled standing up. You better mom and dad said together and I sighed.I was so fucked if I messed up more. I searched the whole house which took hours  cause this house is huge. I slumped into the bed of the last room I checked upstairs and groaned where the hell is she in the house? I went downstairs and asked every worker around but no one knew where she was. I sat on one of the barstools and huffed. Bob raised a brow at me and I groaned more.Care to explain what all the ruckus was about? He questioned. I sighed and proceeded to explain whatever had happened.Damn he said and I sighed you fucked up. I k-know I mumbled. I have been l-loo-looking for h-h-h

He asked and I jumped up t-thanks I rushed out before rushing to the garden.Damn it I muttered to myself when I could not find her. I looked up towards the roof and saw her on it. Bingo! I smiled. I run upstairs and unto the roof. Please go away she said and I sighed.

Skylar POV
I climbed the roof and just lay there with my eyes closed.I heard movement on the roof and opened my eyes to see papa.Stellina he sighed sitting right next to me.Come here he said and pulled me into his laps.I am really sorry I mumbled for what? He asked and I sighed.For whatever I said in there I said and he sighed. You were not exactly wrong. He said you were being abused under our noses and we could not even see. I did hide it from you I pointed out doesn't matter he said and I sighed. Jackson should not have said that  though he muttered and I sighed he did though. You have to believe me papa Octavian is not like that I know Stellina I know he said. Everything good up there? Mom asked and I smiled at papa before shouting yeah.Remember don't make it easy on Jackson mom hollered and I laughed. I am telling everyone to tell him they can not find you papa winked and I smiled gratefully. I would at least have time to prepare before I faced him. Hopefully I don't breakdown.

Jackson POV
Please leave me alone she said and I sighed again. C-c-come-come on I said sitting next to her.She scooted away from me and I groaned.S-sky p-please. You do not get to do that Jackson. You do not get to just rub it in my face that I was abused. Jackson I was eight she said. God how could I be so stupid I thought to myself. Plea-please l-let's g-go to-to the r-ro-room I said softly and she rolled her eyes but got up anyways. We made our way into the room and she lay on the bed and closed her eyes. Explain yourself she said and I started I j-ju-st m-my  I sat on the bed  and put my face in my hands. Yo-you w-wo-n-won-won't s-s-top lis-listening h-hal-f-w-way r-right? I questioned and she opened her eyes. Why would I do that she questioned. Well you are annoyed and i'm anxious so my stutter is worse and you may get tired of listening to me. Have I gotten tired of listening to you before? She scoffed.S-sorry I mumbled. You were about to explain yourself she prompted and I sighed. I d-d-di-d n-not m-m-ean w-wh-at-ev-ver I-i s-sa-aid t-to c-co-ome ou-out l-lik-like t-that. I j-just oc-o-o-o-oc-o I groaned because of how much I was struggling to say just that one name.O-oct-ta-tav-v-vian p-pissed m-me o-off a-and I w-was-was s-s-cared you w-wou-would be h-h-hurt rig-right under my n-nose a-a-gain a-and I w-wou-would not kn-know so yeah. She sighed before talking I guess I should be apologising to. It was not your fault I got abused but I was a child then and I'm grown now. I mean I'm practically sixteen and besides if anything happens I will inform you. I won't keep it away like last time she said and I smiled. T-thanks.
She suddenly chuckled and I raised a brow it's just when I first went to the Parker mansion,Aaron thought I was a gold digging bitch who just wanted to steal from his parents. I clenched my fists and she rolled her eyes.Cool down there big boy she joked Octavian handled it. w-wh-at h-happenned? I asked and she laughed well Aaron dearest triggered an asthma attack intentionally when no one was at home and Octavian by chance walked in at that time let's just say he didn't let it slide she chuckled. Kicked his ass in his own home then shoved him out of my room. Wow I muttered. Yeah she laughed. Almost murdered the guy.So we good? She asked and I shook my head. She frowned and I laughed w-we h-ha-ve t-to f-f-f-ollow tr-tr-adi-tion I said and she smiled. We made our way downstairs and into the kitchen. Glad to see you are in a good mood and there will be no extra work for some people Bob said and she laughed while I rubbed my back guiltily. s-s-s-s-or-ry-sorry ab-about-about that I said to the maids and they smiled it was getting boring anyways one of them shrugged and the rest laughed. So why are you here? Bob questioned and she smiled well...

What the fuck is going on here!? Dad questioned and we froze

Hi guys so this maybe my longest chapter yet YAY ME!!!
