Narrator's P.O.V
It was a busy day at the village as usual. Laughter of children and neighbors talking could be heard. This village at the country side of a great empire is adorn with happiness. But even in this joyful and peaceful atmosphere Shu Kurenai couldn't be happy.
Shu was born in this village. But just as child he lost both of his parents in an accident. Growing up Shu had no one to call family. He lived all by himself at his house, the only thing left by his parents. The once joyful house that Shu grew up with only his parents is now just a painful memory to him. The room, the furniture, his childhood toys, everything reminded him of his dear parents.
Shu had nobody to look after him as he grew older. As a result he became very self dependent and distant to everyone around him. The cheerful boy of his childhood was no more. Now his heart was frozen cold.
Shu's P.O.V
Its already the early autumn. The trees around my house have all already changed it's colors. It's a beautiful hue of gold but looks more like just a shade of grey to me.
I walked around in the empty hallways of my house. I had run out of food so I need to go out for shopping.
I went out of my house in search for food that I need tonight. After I was done getting enough ingredients it was just before the afternoon. Shopping took much longer than I expected. To go to my house which is quite far from the village market, I have to cross a wheat field. I noticed that it was already the time for harvest as the plants have all turned golden yellow.
