Austin had a smirk on his face. He wore a leather jacket, black jeans, and basketball shoes. His typical outfit. He sat, slouched on the couch as he crossed his legs staring directly at me. And for some reason, that made me angry.
The sound of the front door closing shut had caused all of us to turn around. We saw... Carter and James walk in. What the hell is going on?
"Seriously Austin, what the fuck?" I heard Dinah hiss. Austin reached behind his back and pulled out something...
No one's POV
Austin reached behind his back, pulling out what looked like a gun. Lauren looked over at Camila before gripping tightly onto her hand.
Dinah defensively stood in front of Normani. And Ally... Well she hid behind Normani.
"What sort of twisted shit is this? This isn't funny Mahone. Put that away." Lauren groaned. Her patience was thin, and her level of anxiety was slowly reaching it's limit.
Austin began bitterly laughing before tossing the gun on the ground, "fair enough. Let's make a deal." He smirked. Dinah looked over at Sarah before taking a step closer, "listen you little fuckboy, we have a kid here okay. Get the fuck out of my girlfriend's house before I call the cops."
"I am a cop. Did you forget?" James said, loud enough to catch everyone's attention. There was a long tense silence in the room.
"Okay, what deal do you want to make?" Lauren gave in, she knew that all she really wanted was for Camila and Sarah to be safe.
But most of all, Lauren was hurt. She was beginning to look at Austin as a friend, but the pieces of the puzzle slowly began falling in place. She should've known that this would happen. Austin is Camila's ex after all. But she truly hoped, that he would be over it.
"I'll leave you all alone, so will James and Carter, and no one will get hurt... Only if you willingly either give me Sarah or Camila." Austin smirked once he saw Lauren's jaw drop. He knew he got her in a tough position. But what he didn't know was that it was an impossible position to get out of for Lauren. Lauren truly loved Sarah, ever since the fire, she felt like her own daughter.
And Camila... Well anyone who didn't believe that Lauren felt sincere and true about Camila after seeing the way she looks at her is insane. Lauren would do anything in the world for both Sarah and Camila, but now that she's being asked to give one up, she can't.
"No." Was all Lauren could bring herself forward to say. She felt Sarah wrap her arms around her neck, that's when she knew that no matter what happened tonight, she was going to have to keep Camila and Sarah safe.
"No is not an answer. Camila or Sarah?" Austin repeated the question. "Austin this is fucking stupid, let us leave. I thought you were on our side." Dinah said just before the room filled with the sound of Austin's bitter laugh.
He got up, picking up the gun from the ground. He walked past Lauren, over to Camila. "Shame, you left me for such a weak piece of shit." Austin said as he kept his voice low but didn't remove the smirk from his face. He brought his pointer fighter up to trace Camila's jawline, "I can ruin Lauren's life if you don't do what I please." He whispered so quietly that only Camila could hear.
She was terrified. But after looking away from Austin, she saw Lauren and Sarah curiously staring from behind the boy.
"You're not going to control me anymore. I have a life Austin. I have a beautiful girl that I truly like, I have Dinah, Ally, and maybe even Normani now. And I have Sarah back. And you're not going to fuck anything up." Camila hissed, as she pushed Austin back roughly.
