I used to love to swim.

The ocean was my beloved
It stole from me my tears
And hugged me when my heart was cold
It took away my troubles
And hid them far away in the depths of its heart
The ocean was my friend
It gave me pretty shells
It scattered them across its sands and hid them for the fun
The ocean made me feel like a diamond reflecting the sun
I sparkled and shined
The ocean made me feel beautiful.
I've left the ocean
It calls for me every night
Begging for my return
It misses my laughter
It misses my eyes
The ocean was my friend
The waters call for me to swim again
