Dads are heroes
I used to believe
But don't get me wrong
I love my dad
I love him more than life
He saved me from the shadows
And caught me when i tried to fly
But oh how I hate him
He snaps when I ask about his day
And talks of my body like it's made of flies
I hate my dad
He ignored my cries
And waved off my plea's for help
I asked him once
"How can you love me?"
Because he made me feel like a sharp rock in his shoe
It did nothing but burden you
But soon that rock will be gone
That's what you wanted
Right dad?
