I miss you

Bubbles escape my mouth

I miss your touch

Your hands holding my waist

I can only see water

The current is pulling me down deep

Onto the sand bed where you lie

I thought I could bring you back to life

But in the end, I'm stuck

Saltwater fills my lungs

As I shut my pale blue eyes I think that no one will take care of me back in the village

They think I'm wasted away with grief and sorrow

They don't know that I'm lonely waiting for someone that will never return

Gura mise tha fo éislean

Moch sa mhaduinn is mi g'éirigh

Ò hì shiùbhlainn leat

Ailein Duinn, ò hì shiùbhlainn leat

The end.
