Chapter 13

Here's another chapter and I hope you like it. Now, I won't be updating for a while (I need to rest) and ENJOY...

They were so stunned it was almost like they were frozen in time. But Robin reacted first, and he walked fast until he was in front of Danny. Robin tried to hug him through the bars of the cage, but Danny went as far as he could from him and for a moment Robin felt hurt until Danny explained.

- I'm sorry, Dick. It's just that this bars hurt me!

- What do you mean? Did they make them based on your DNA?- asked Robin after the initial shock of denial

- No, it's made for ghost but I have been exposed to ectoplasm for too long. So it hurts me as if I was a ghost!- explained Danny, he really hated lying especially to family but for now it had to be done

- Okay, then let's get you out of there!- said Robin wanting nothing more than his little brother safety and happiness

- Thank you Dick! Now, this door has double lock; one for a key and the other for a password. The lock for the key, you know what to do, but for the other I have the password.- said Danny wanting, no, needing to get out of that cage

- Alright, I'm done with the first lock. Now, what's the password?- asked Robin

- It's Maddie Fudge...-said Danny without looking at his older brother

- What kind of password is that?- Robin couldn't stop himself, he needed to ask

- The kind of password that a klaŭno (Esperanto for clown) like Jack Fenton would use!- said Danny while letting some of his anger out

- Okay, you're free!- said Robin while observing Danny, it had surprise him; the anger and that word

- FINALLY!!!- shouted Danny running out of the cage and directly to the stairs

Robin was surprise and a little scare since he thought that Danny was trying to escape, but then calmed down when he heard him go to the second floor. Unlike Danny, Robin decided to stay at the lab and observe everything in it. He was impressed with the technology and the weapons, but the big metal doors had taken all his attention away. Robin didn't know what it was for, but it was an amazing thing. Just as Danny was at the bottom of the stairs; Robin went to touch the Portal and then he heard a shout that stopped his hands that were centimeters away from the Portal.

- Bonvolu, resti for! (Please, stay away!)- shouted Danny without noticing his use of Esperanto

- Danny, what did you say? And what language was that?- asked Robin while forgetting all about the Portal and getting closer to Danny, who ran half-way across the lab

- I said to please stay away, don't you understand English?- said Danny a bit angry at his brother for almost touching the Portal and for not understanding him

- Danny, I know a lot of languages and that wasn't English.- said Robin in a calm voice as to not make him angrier

- What do you...oh, never mind! That was Esperanto; sometimes I speak it without noticing.- explained Danny in a much calmer tone of voice, even a bit embarrassed

- Don't worry, but why did you want me to stay away and from what?- asked Robin a bit confuse

- I wanted you to stay away from the Portal because you could have been sucked inside it and I don't want to do two rescue missions in less than 24 hours.- explained Danny already a bit bored

- Rescue mission? Who are you rescuing?- asked Robin; not really wanting the answer

- I'm busting Jazz out of jail and if you want to know anything else; it have to wait until we're out of this house. Now, take this and wait outside the front door; I need to get a few more things.- said Danny while handing his two duffle bags to Robin
