Jade's POV

'What makes you think that?!' I shout at my brother

'Jade, you need a husband' My brother Tom says tiredly

'I don't need no fucking man! This is what's ridiculous about being a woman every fucking day we're expected to run after our husbands. I tell you right fucking now if you marry me off with some rando without my consent I'll never forgive you' I shout and storm out of the house 

I walk over to The Garrison to see my best mate since I know he's always in there 

I storm into the private room of The Garrison and sit down beside Arthur 

'What's wrong with you?' John says 

'It's Tom being Tom' I say angrily 

'What's he done now' Tommy says curiously 

'Trying to force me into getting married. It's so annoying because as I said to Tom what's ridiculous about being a woman every fucking day we're expected to run after our husbands and it's about time it stops' I say 

Isaiah and Finn walk in just as I finish talking 

'Jade love how about we go for a walk' John says 

'Why? I want to stay here' I say 

'So that you can calm down. We know how you get when you're angry' John says making me jump out of my chair from anger

'Like you can fucking talk' I say and storm out of The Garrison 

I walk down to the river since that's my place to go to calm down. I've been coming down here since I was 14 and I'm 18 now I find comfort in being here since no one comes here so most of the time I'm alone 

'Mind if I join you?' I hear a voice say behind me making me jump 

I look over my shoulder to see Isaiah. I nod and he sits down next to me and we stay in silence

'Look John didn't mean anything bad' Isaiah says making me roll my eyes 

'He's just trying to look after you' Isaiah says 

'Like I said I don't need a man I can look after myself' I say picking at the grass 

'Jade honestly we know that you can look after yourself but we'd love to see you happy' Isaiah says 

'Is, I'm happy being single. I guess I'm just scared of commitment considering the way my dad treated my mum' I say 

'I get that but not all men are like your dad' Isaiah says 

'Like who?' I say looking at Isaiah 

'Me' Isaiah says looking at me and making me chuckle 

'I'm being serious' Isaiah says 

'Is, you have so many girls running after you how can you like me' I say quietly 

'I don't want them I want you. Every time I see you butterflies erupt in my stomach and I feel like I can't breathe' Isaiah says 

'Is, I don't know if I want a relationship' I say looking at the river

'I get that but I'll prove you wrong ' Isaiah says 

'Let me think about it' I say making Isaiah smile 

'Of course, I'll be waiting' Isaiah says 

3 years later...

'Jade love push' Polly says making me push 

'Poll, I can't do it anymore' I say 

'You can love just push' Polly says making me push and I hear crying making me sigh in relief 

'It's a boy' Polly says smiling 

I put my head against the leg of mine and Isaiah's couch trying to calm down my breathing 

Polly hands me my son as the boys come in 

'It's a boy' I say smiling up at Is 

'What's he called?' John says 

'We want to call him JJ Jesus' Isaiah says 

'Jeremiah Junior' I say looking down at my newborn
