Rose's POV

I'm sat in shock as my husband Robert confesses to me that he's been cheating on me our whole marriage.

'Was it me?' I say quietly

'You were just naggy and clingy. I needed a break' Robert says

'So you go and fuck Lizzie Stark! Our whole fucking marriage down the fucking drain' I shout

'It's your fault you bitch' Robert says hitting me

I fell onto the floor holding my cheek that was the first time Robert had ever laid his hands on me.

'Rose, I'm so sorry' Robert says rushing over to me

I flinch away from him

'Get away from me' I say scared

'Don't stop acting like the poor little victim here' Robert says

'Get up!' Robert says kicking me

'Stop hitting me!' I say as I start crying

'GET UP THEN!' Robert says grabbing me by my hair and forcing me up

'You tell any of them gyspy scum about this and there will be consequences got it' Robert says grabbing my face

'Yes' I say quietly

'What!' Robert says shouting

'Yes!' I say louder

'Good girl now clean this mess' Robert says walking out of our house

I drop down to the floor in tears holding the back of my head

Not knowing how long Robert will be out I quickly tidy the mess up and put everything away

There's a knock on the door so I quickly answer it thinking it was Robert but it was only Tommy, Arthur and John

'Oh hi' I say quietly

'What's wrong?' John says walking in

'Oh nothing' I say

'Rose there's something wrong' Arthur says

I hide my face away from the boys because I know they'll go ballistic if they see it

'Why are you hiding your face?' Tommy says

'I fell and I hurt my face' I say

'Show us then' Tommy says

'I can't' I say

'Why?' John says

'Because she fucking said so' Robert says walking into the house

Dread fills my body as soon as I hear his voice. He has never in our 4 years of marriage ever laid a finger on me and I just don't know what changed in him. Was it me? I don't know

'Rose, make me a cuppa' Robert says sitting down on our couch and reading the daily newspaper

I scurry to make Robert's cuppa so he doesn't shout when the boys are here. I don't think he would anyway because he's scared shitless of the Shelby family

'We're going to go but we'll be back later we need to speak about business' Tommy says

'Ok I'll pop along to Polly's later' I say quietly whilst still hiding my face

The boys leave and as soon as the boys leave Robert jumps from the couch and comes over to me

'You better not have told them about what happened here' Robert says grabbing my hair

'I didn't I promise. They came round unannounced' I say desperate for Robert to let go of my hair

'Good now where's my cuppa' Robert says letting go of me

'Here' I say quietly and he snatches the cuppa out of my hands

'I need more fags to go get me more' Robert says taking the last fag out of his packet

'But I just got you that packet today' I say quietly

'Ok? I need more so go get me more' Robert says

'Ok, I'll be back in ten minutes' I say quietly as I get my coat on

I leave the house and I bump into Isaiah by accident

'Oh Rose! I was just coming to get you. Tommy, John and Arthur want to speak to you' Isaiah says

'Is, I'm in a hurry I really need to be quick' I say

'It'll be quick they said' Isaiah says

'Fine' I say caving in

'Let's go' Isaiah says

'Where are they?' I say

'The Garrison' Isaiah says

'Ok' I say nervously just in case Robert sees me go the opposite way to the shop

I quickly cross the road so the chance of Robert spotting me lowers. Isaiah and I get to The Garrison quite quickly since my house is 8 doors down from the Garrison.

I go into the private room with Isaiah and I sit down beside Micheal since he's here too

'Right, we need to get straight to the case here. What happened earlier in your house' Tommy says

'I fell like I said earlier' I say looking down at my hands

'Rose, we know you didn't we're not stupid' Arthur says

'I swear I fell' I say

'Rose, come on' John says

I just sigh and cave in

'It was Robert ' I say quietly

'What did he do?' Tommy says scarily quiet

'He's been cheating on me throughout the whole of our marriage with Lizzie Stark. He told me the reason why he's been cheating was because apparently I was too naggy and clingy and he needed a break. I got angry so I shouted so you go and fuck Lizzie Stark our whole fucking marriage down the fucking drain and he got mad and he hit me. It knocked me down since there was a lot of force behind the slap and then he started kicking me to get me to stand up but I didn't so he grabbed me by my hair and forced me up himself and he was just grabbing me with a lot of force' I say with tears running down my face

'He also said if I tell any of you gyspy scum then there would be consequences for it' I say

As soon as I finish telling them what happened Arthur and John jump out of their chairs and run out of the private room

'Wait no!' I say running out after them

Before I can get past the alleyway down by The Garrison John and Arthur are already pounding on my front door

Tommy, Micheal and I race to mine so we can make sure John and Arthur don't do much damage

I get to mine and John and Arthur are swinging Robert about the house

'Stop!' I say with tears running down my face

'I'm pregnant!' I shout out which stops everyone from what they're doing

Robert just looks at me with disgust in his eyes

'That ain't my baby' Robert says

'It is' I say still crying

'Well, I don't want anything to do with that freak of a baby' Robert says and as soon as that comes out of Robert's mouth Tommy takes his peaky hat off and blinds Robert

'It takes two people to make a baby not one you fat bastard' John says and kicks Robert in the gut

'Come on Rose, you're staying with me from now on' Tommy says and guides me out of my house

We head back to The Garrison. When we got back to the private room just staying there for the majority of the day.

Tommy just comforts me

'Why Tommy Why?' I say crying

'I don't know love' Tommy says gently
