I haven't seen Tommy in a long time. My dad sent me away when he found out I was in a relationship with the leader of The Peaky Blinders. My dad and I never got along ever, he'd always say it was my fault that my mum died during childbirth. My dad passed away a couple of weeks ago from Cancer.
I've been living with my aunt in Wales for the past 4 years and since my dad isn't here anymore I've built up the courage to move back to Small Heath I'm really nervous since Tommy might've moved on.
I'm currently driving to Small Heath now and my nerves are getting worse what if they don't like me now? I mean I disappeared out of nowhere.
I pull into my old street that's right next to The Garrison I don't know why but my dad left the house to me so I'm just moving back into that house.
I park my car outside of my house and get out I get my suitcases out of the boot of my car and I walk towards my house
'AMELIA!' Someone shouts from beside me
I turn around confused only to see Ada and Polly running towards me
'Where did you go?!' Polly says
'My dad found out about mine and Tommy's relationship and sent me to Wales' I say quietly
'Oh, honey I'm sorry' Polly says hugging me
'It's fine, I'm just hoping Tommy doesn't hate me' I say pulling away from Polly
'Honey, he doesn't hate you. He hasn't even looked in a girl's direction since you left' Ada says
I unlock my front door to see the house in a mess
'When you left your dad lost control of himself' Polly says
'It's his fault. He sent me away' I say
'No one really your dad liked your dad' Ada says
'No offence' Ada says quickly
'No it's fine I understand' I say smiling
'We'll help clean up' Polly says
'No, it's fine it won't take long' I say smiling
'We need to celebrate tonight' Ada says
'We will' I say smiling
'Right, you go enjoy your day I'll come round when I'm done' I say smiling
'Ok, see you soon' Polly says hugging me
'Bye' I say closing my front door
I get to cleaning my house since the mess it's in will take me ages.
I start with cleaning the kitchen since that's the messiest room of all. It takes me an hour or so to clean the kitchen and I just start cleaning the whole house
When I'm done with the cleaning I hop in the shower since I've been cleaning and driving all day. When I get out of my shower I hear knocking on my door. I quickly put my robe and slippers on. I head downstairs to answer the door
The knocking isn't stopping
'Right! I'm coming Jesus Christ!' I say
I swing my front door open and before I can comprehend who is at my door I get tackled by hugs.
'Woah!' I say as I wobble nearly losing my balance
'When did you get back?' John says excitedly
'I got back earlier today' I say trying to pry their hands off me
'Why did you leave anyway?' Arthur says
'My dad sent me away when he found out about Tommy and I's relationship' I say
When I say that Arthur and John immedietly pull away in shock
'Are you taking the piss?' John says
'No, I was living with my aunt in Wales' I say
'We all thought that you left on your own? That was what your dad was saying' Arthur says
'Well, he was lying' I say walking away into the kitchen
'How's Tom?' I say nervously
'How about you ask him yourself?' John and Arthur says moving out the way so Tommy is in view.
As soon as I lock eye contact with the man I have loved since I was 12 all the feelings and nostalgia come back
I run straight into Tommy's arms and we stay there hugging each other for atleast 5 minutes.
'You still smell the same like you did 4 years ago' Tommy says into my neck
'I've missed you so much' I say
'I'm sorry for leaving with no notice it was just abrupt and rude and I hated myself for doing that to you' I say
'You didn't do anything love' Tommy says
'I hate to interrupt this moment but we need to go to The Garrison to celebrate' John says
'Let me get dressed' I say pulling away from Tommy
I quickly run up the stairs to get changed. I decided on what to wear quicker than usual
