Cora's POV

'You have a daughter?' Polly says in shock

'Yes' I say ashamed

'Is that why you disappeared for a good while' Tommy says looking at me

'Yes, I was ashamed how it happened and I went back to Scotland to live with my sister' I say

'How old is she?' Arthur says

'5' I say

'How old are you now?' Micheal says

I hesitate to answer but I still say it

'20'

Tommy's new wife Lizzie Stark just scoffs

'What is your problem?' I say with an attitude

'The fact that you had a baby at 15 is shocking' Lizzie says

'The fact that you still do prostitution is shocking' I spit out

(Let's pretend she still does prostitution when she's married to Tommy)

Everyone gasps

'After Grace died, that man was fucking miserable and you slither your way into his life like the fucking snake you are. I mean fucking hell you got a fucking baby out of it, you got money out of him aswell and you still do prostitution?' I say losing it

'How dare you throw accusations like that towards me!' Lizzie says

'Are we really playing this game Lizzie' I say

'We're not playing any game' Lizzie says

'Ok so I totally didn't see you giving Billy Wilson a blowjob down in an alley?' I say

'Are you fucking joking!' Polly and Ada say as they jump out their chairs they were sitting in

'You're lying' Lizzie starts shouting

'You have no fucking idea how it happened! Do you really think I'd go through the humiliation purposely at 15 no I fucking wouldn't. Do you think I'd go home to tell my fucking Aunt and just for her to psychically throw me out and force me to move back to Scotland!' I say finally losing it

'Right everyone stop!' Tommy says shouting

'Girls sit down' Tommy says

'No I'm not staying in a fucking room with your supposed wife that's lying about still doing prostitution behind your back' I say walking out of the room

I just walk out of the house altogether and I hear John, Micheal and Finn shouting after me

'Cora come back!' Finn says

I ignore him and I get in my car and drive off to go get my daughter and head back to Scotland

I speed down the roads back to Small Heath. I look out my rear view mirror to see John's car speeding after me

I go faster so I can hopefully lose them. I start crying in the car. Lizzie has no right to assume anything about my life when all of her life she was doing prostitution. She used John aswell! Now she's using Tommy. That woman has no shame at all it's fucking pathetic

I turn into Small Heath and I go to my cousin's house to get Flo.

I get out my car and I quickly get in the door before John, Micheal and Finn can stop me. I quickly lock the door and I quickly get mine and Flo's stuff

'Woah Cora calm down' Anne says coming into the room that she kindly gave me

'What's wrong where are you going?' Anne says

'I'm going back to Scotland' I say getting our stuff and go downstairs

I get Flo from the sitting room

'Mummy! Your back' Flo says

'Come on sweetheart, we're going back home' I say

'Why? We just got here' Flo says

'Something happened sweetheart' I say and Flo gets up and she follows me to the front door but before we can get out the door Anne tries stopping me

'Cora can you please just tell me what's happened' Anne says

'Lizzie Stark that's what happened' I say and I open the front door and I walk out with Flo beside me

I place our stuff down to fit Flo in her car seat but that's when John runs over to me

'Cora!' John says

'Mummy who is that?' Flo says curiously

Micheal and Finn catch up to John and they just stare at Flo through the car door

'People mummy knows darling' I say smiling and I finish putting Flo in her car seat

'Mummy will be right in the car two minutes' I say

'Love you mummy' Flo says

'Love you too' I say and I kiss Flo's head and I close the door

I pick up our stuff and I put it in the boot of the car

'Cora come on don't leave we just got you back' Finn says

'Finn, I'm not having Lizzie Stark of all people criticising me like that' I say

'Cora honestly just ignore her' John says

'John she's still doing prostitution for fucks sake' I say

'Yes and Tommy will deal with that but please come on don't leave' John says and I just don't say anything

'She's a beautiful little girl please let us get to know her' Micheal says

'She doesn't know how you ended up being pregnant with Flo and I'm sorry but I'll be damned if I let Lizzie Stark run you out of Small Heath' Micheal says

'Micheal I didn't want to come back' I say honestly

'It was Anne that convinced me to come back and tell you all why I got up and left' I say

'Please just come to Poll's and tell us what happened whatever happened we'll support you and deal with it' Finn says desperately

I think about it and I cave in

'Fine but Lizzie is not coming' I say walking towards Anne's front door and I walk back in

'I thought you left' Anne says

'John stopped me. They're getting me to go to Polly's' I say

'Ok but if anything happens then I'll come' Anne says hugging me

'I love you Cora' Anne says

'I love you too Anne' I say hugging her back

I walk out the front door and I get Flo out of her car seat I pick her up so she's on my hip and I head to Polly's with John, Micheal and Finn

Micheal unlocks the front door and we walk in. I put Flo down but since she doesn't know any of the boys and she stays right by my side

I sit down on Polly's couch and Flo just sits on my lap and hides from the boys

'I'll phone mum and let her know that we're at home' Micheal says and he goes to the phone to phone Polly
