Ch 22 Secrets ⚠️

Waking groggy, you groan and sit up, stumbling to the kitchen you make coffee and chug the first the sip the second turning you see people staring at you poking each one you sit down and say "did they find a lock box in the destroyed room? If so I want it" then you get up and leave.

Mikey frowned and Sanzu phoned the builders, they sent it right over. Looking at he box Mikey didn't hesitate and he opened it then paled, and tears rolled down his face,with a whispered "oh fuck, I didn't know" Sanzu stands up and looks in and hung his head.

Walking in you see them looking in the box and huff then say "that was locked for a reason guys" they both look at you crying, moaning you give them both hugs as you smile at the items in the box, you say "it doesn't hurt anymore guys. They are a happy memory".

Rindou looks at you and says "love what?" then shuts his mouth, you grab the box and say "in here is the proof and items of my and Keisuke's child, he was stillborn". They all freeze as you smile and lay out the treasured memories.

A scan picture, hand prints, foot prints, birth certificate, a picture of him and you holding him, his baby blanket and boots, you say "his name is Kai, I had him in the Asylum. The stress was to much for us both" they all groaned and Rin picked you up and held you close.

No tears, you didn't cry anymore, just happy to remember him in your arms. "I was way to young really, and  not mentally stable. He will always have a part of my heart though, I placed him in the place I would spend most of my time" Rin picked up the pictures and smiled.

Speaking about him was nice, you told them all the issues you had during pregnancy, then you explained the heartache and despair when he was born dead saying "this is all I have, they had him cremated and scattered. A male nurse had all this done and locked in here for me".

Inhaling with a smile you say "once it was all locked up, I never opened it again, just remembered and kept him close" Rin pulled you in tighter and said "he was beautiful and cute" you laugh and nod, Mikey asks "don't you think it's time to bring him into the light? We can have it all box framed and put pride of place".

Freezing you frown, swallow and say "none of you would mind?" they jerk and shake their heads all giving different answers but all positive, you smile and nod saying "I would like that" Rin hugs you close and kisses your cheek. Packing it all away with a smile, you hand it over to Ko, who asked to have it framed.

He held it and said "I will look after it" smiling you nod and disappear upstairs, Rin stands up and follows worried. Walking in to your room he picks you up and holds you as you say "it really isn't a sad memory anymore, it's nice he will be known and remembered now".

He kisses you and asked "so what's worrying you?" looking at him you ask "are you okay with it? I mean he was my child with someone else?" he sighs and says "idiot, I wouldn't love you any less, even if he was still here I would claim you both as mine" small tears as you squeeze him tight. He groans and says "I would have to be a pretty messed up person to have a problem with this love".

Downstairs they all tried to digest what you had just shared with them, they looked at the box and they cried for you, loosing your lover, friends, freedom and child all in the space of a few months, yet you kept it all bottled up inside and moved on as best you could.

Mikey says "get the best Kokonoi. I can't believe she kept that a secret" Takeomi says "it was probably to raw to talk about and when she finally could, it would seem wrong to bring it up" sighing he says "I know I do, but christ I am an awful friend" hearing this you laugh and say "who kept me this sane? It was the both of you. Where were the rest of my so called friends?".

Hugging them both you say "never think of yourselves as terrible friends. Who stood by me and kept me in their lives? I need you two more than I would ever say" sighs and groans they nod and hold you for a bit longer.

Breaking the hug you say "now what are we eating because I am starving?" laughter and the menus come out, Ran asked "can you cook Y/n?" Mikey and Sanzu pale and shake their heads at Ran, smiling you say "of course. Do you want to try it?" he pales slightly and starts to sweat, when Rin helps him out with "I don't think we have any ingredients love".

Nodding you go back to browsing the menus, Rin received a thumbs up from the two behind you. Laughing you say "you know there is a mirror right there?" as you point at the mirror which shows everything to you. They hiccup and gulp.

Smirking you say "for that I will cook tomorrow, okay?" they pale and nod shakily. Ko whispers "how bad do you think it is?" Mochi answered "by their reactions? Pretty fucking bad" they all moan and pale, as you hum happily picking your food for tonight and planning tomorrow's menu.

Sanzu and Mikey look at each other wide-eyed and shaking. Rin laughs and says "looking forward to it love" you give him a kiss and your selection for food.
