Ch9 Goodbye ⚠️

You wake up once again in Mikey's room, using his shower and stealing more clothes, you head to the kitchen, walking in you see Ran "Hey Ran, who is your friend? I don't know them and morning" he looks at you "Just me here darling, sorry and morning" you walk over and poke Ran then the man next to him, your finger goes through him "oh sorry I thought you were real" you laugh making a coffee, "So what's on the agenda for today?, My stuff, yeah good idea" you say staring at the man,

That's when the rest come in, you count under your breath "1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10" blinking you get up and poke everyone, then they watch as you poke thin air, "you are not real either, not seen two at the same time in a while" going back to your chair you sit sipping coffee while your gaze goes between the two visions.

"If I am actually conjuring these in my subconscious? Shouldn't I know or recognise the people, because I have no idea, who these fucks are. Unless they are a corpse I have worked on before, could be, makes more sense, yeah" you ask, then finished your own thoughts.

You feel a hug, and you turn and see Sanzu, blinking at him "sorry morning everyone" they reply in kind, "you feeling better today? And the body is on ice, in your basement room" Sanzu asks you look at him, tilting your head "Did I do something bad yesterday" you stop and go silent "Oh the eyes, great thanks, I would of eventually, maybe, thank you Rin, yes very much, shhhh" you say smiling.

Rindou looks at you "No problem, anytime" he says with a small smile, Mikey looks between you two, and speaks "so your stuff will arrive today, I sent the men out, I stole your keys" shrugging your shoulders "Wait, did you tell them about my cat, don't forget Mr Snuggles, I will kill you all happily humming a sea shanty"

Mochi looks at you and says "That is oddly specific" you turn and smile at him "It only happened once, but murder seems stuck in the head, you know" nodding at him while speaking, Kukicho asks "Mr Snuggles? I um what breed are they?" you giggle and say "A bastard mix, Mr Snuggles is an ironic name, he hates everyone, except Sanzu" the man mentioned laughs.

Looking at Mikey "I need to go somewhere to day, it's time, yeah, it is" he looks at you "Alone? Or do you want company?" you breath out "company please" you reply quietly, he nods "I will give you 20 and I will be ready, Sanzu you drive us" you nod "be right back" saying as you manoeuvre around nothing and leaving, everyone looks at him, Mikey looks and says "We are saying goodbye to an old friend, finally" Rindou twitched. Mikey and Sanzu leave the room.

Sitting at his grave, you are not sure what to say, "I guess you know but I finally said your name. I feel free, I do still love you but I actually hate you more. You knew you wouldn't come back, yet you still made me promise. I decided this is goodbye completely, you no longer have any sway on my life. I found someone I would like to try moving on with. So goodbye Kei, please leave me alone now. " you turn and walk into the embrace of your two lifelines tears coursing down your face.

Walking out in between your friends, you see someone, who should be dead, but you know they are real, he calls out to you, you ignore his existence but shout out "He is all yours now, I finally realised I was never enough, don't try to talk to me again" and you carry on walking away. Not seeing the devastation on the man's face or the whispered "Sorry".

Getting back into the car Sanzu says "Let's get lunch, how about ramen? I know a good place, just the three of us" you look at Mikey excited he smiles and nods "fine, oh and should we talk about the person who has peaked your interest" you turn your head away while Sanzu is loosing it "No, I don't think so" you reply.

Sitting in the little ramen restaurant, "I know who it is" says Sanzu, you look at him while slurping noodles "I think everyone does Psycho, I ain't subtle, plus I hope I am right but he is giving off interested vibes" Mikey nods "Yeah even I have picked up on it, not who I thought you would be interested in, but I am liking the dynamic" turning to him "Who was your choice then" he looks at you and laughs "The brother" even Sanzu laughs and says "Yeah, I can see why you thought that" thinking.

You see someone stood by the table you poke it "Oh hello can I help you?" he glares at you and you tilt your head "You are the reason he is dead, I will hate you forever" you look at him "OK first, who are you second which one are you talking to and third why would I care if a limp dick like you hates me, when if I am to blame for someone's death I could add you. But I don't know you" he pales looking at you, "you killed him, the operation was a botched job".

You laugh "Deffinatly the wrong person, I am a forensic doctor, the only person on my table is already dead, I cut open the dead, not the living" he pales even further, looking back at the people in the booth.

Looking around him to the people, you shout over to them "Hey dick heads, you ever heard of....... Cartel?" And you smile at them, you grab your, chopsticks. You slowly saunter over to them "So was that a yes to my question?" they nod, you laugh and stab two of them in the eye, with the chopsticks, then grabbing more you send one through his neck, and you stab another in the lung, going for the last you hear a gunshot,hearing Mikey's voice "keep that one alive, I want info" you huff and knock him out. Dragging his body Sanzu leaves a huge tip, and you leave.
