"Okay fine!" I leant back against my seat chewing my lip nervously. I was just going to come straight out with it. No beating around the bus "Me and Charles kissed last night in the restroom"

Jesy nearly choked as she took a sip of her water. Almost spitting it back out at me.

"WHAT!?"

"You and Charles kissed in the restroom!?" She laughed loudly "what the fuck!"

"Oh my god could you have said that any louder I'm not sure the whole of Bahrain heard you" I dropped my face into my hands suddenly regretting ever telling her. I didn't want to have to deal with anything relating to Charles. At least not today.

"So let me get this straight" she began "when I came and found you last night he was in there with you?"

"I'm surprised you actually remembered that...but yeah he was in there"

Jesy ran her tongue across her teeth as she tried to piece together the night before "wait how did it even happen?"

I dropped my face back into my hands again letting out an even bigger groan. The moment at the table with my foot on his leg had come flooding back.

"I may have ran my foot up his leg underneath the table to get his attention.." I muttered quietly in hopes Jesy might not have heard me. But she did and it caused her to cackle loudly.

"You played footsies with him? And he liked it?"

"Jesy please" I couldn't help but smile at her reaction. Deep down I didn't find it funny but just seeing how cracked up Jesy was I couldn't help but smile.

"I know I'm sorry I just can't get over the image of you playing footsies with Charles" she replied eventually trying to calm herself down "but seriously you have to tell me what happened after the kiss, have you guys spoke since well I'm guessing not?"

I shook my head "you had knocked on the door and we pulled apart from each other"

"Sorry about that" she butted in.

"And then this morning I woke up to no messages. No calls. Nothing. Just silence."

"Luce you have to talk to him. We finish shooting tomorrow night and then he leaves for the next race. You can't end it like this"

I bit my lip anxiously. Jesy was absolutely right. Time to speak about this with Charles was running out before we both left Bahrain. I'd already planned to go to the Miami Grand Prix but that was in three races time. And I couldn't wait till then.

Once lunch was over Jesy decided to do a bit of last minute shopping. I on the other hand chose to walk back to the hotel which was only a couple of minutes round the corner. Our security team had made the choice to follow Jesy as I was positive I was fine on my own. I just needed a clear head. The sun was beating down on me making me feel slightly nauseous mixing with the hangover I still hadn't cured.

When I saw the hotel finally in sight I heard rapid footsteps behind me like someone was on there afternoon jog. But a tap on my shoulder caused me to halt and turn around.

"Luce"

Charles was in running gear stood before me, trying to catch his breath "thank god I caught you my phone has had no charge all morning" His eyes darted around my face nervously trying to find a slither of emotion from me "we really need to talk"

I felt my body tense slightly "yeah I was hoping we could talk to" I said trying to act as confident as I could. When in reality i was absolutely shitting it.
