Chapter 22

Today was the day.

The day where the selfish doctor pulls the plug.

The plug that's keeping my only parent alive.

I walk into the hospital room where everyone was.

"Ms.Higgins, are you ready?" The doctor asked.

"I will never be ready." I said shaking my head.

Then he did it.

I looked at my dads lifeless body then looked around.

Ashley and my grandma where on the floor sobbing and hugging.

Niall broke down in tears.

Harry was sitting in a corner with his head in his hands sobbing.

Zayn was hugging Perrie.

Louis was crying with his face in his hands.

Liam was crying but he was holding in his sobs.

And me? I was standing there in shock.

My dad.

My only parent.

My rock.

Dead.

I left the room and ran down the hallway. I ran my hands threw my hair and sat on the floor.

A tear escaped my eyes. I then cried. Crying that turned into sobbing.

"A-Abby?" I heard a voice.

I looked over and saw her. Emma.

"E-Emma?" I said standing up and wiping my tears.

She hugged me.

"Are you okay?" She said pulling back looking me dead in the eyes.

I shook my head and cried in her shoulder.

"My dad-" I said trying to explain my crisis.

"Shh I know. I know." Emma said rubbing my back.

She led me to her car.

"Where are we going?" I asked wiping my tears.

"My dad lives 35 minutes from here."

I nodded and looked at my self in the mirror.

I'm a mess.
