Chapter 6| Boy Band

cGASonic was running around the green hill from Tails' to Amy's house

Sonic| Woo hoo this is the life

As Sonic reached Amy's front porch he heard a song but not just any song it was a boy band's pop song which he never was keen on

Sonic knocks on the door

Sonic| hey Ames

Amy opened the door, a smile lighting up her face as she saw Sonic.

Amy| Hey, Sonic! What's up?

Sonic| Not much, just enjoying the run. and what that awful sound it's like packrats strangling a packrat

Amy| What excuse you this is the greatest song since you changed the water filter a week ago

Sonic chuckled, shaking his head in mock disapproval.

Sonic| Greatest song? Ames, you know I'm more of a rock and roll kind of guy. This boy band stuff is just too... cheesy for me.....

the song grew louder and Amy ignored Sonic

Amy | I love you Jeremy Bee ehhhhkkk

Sonic| Alright, Ames. I'll catch you later. Enjoy your... uh, music!

sonic dashed out of Amy's house Sonic continued his run through Green Hill Zone, the vibrant scenery whizzing by as he sped along.

As Sonic ran he reached Studiopolis Zone and he heard the song that Amy was listening to earlier and girls young and old were squealing

Sonic couldn't help but roll his eyes at the familiar boy band tune blaring from a nearby radio in Studiopolis Zone. He couldn't understand the appeal, but he respected everyone's taste in music.

Sonic| Man, this boy band craze is everywhere. Can't escape it!

As Sonic continued his run, he noticed Tails tinkering with some gadgets nearby.

Sonic| Hey Tails, have you heard this new boy band song? Amy seems to be obsessed with it.

knuckles| Oh is Sonic jealous Amy's not paying attention to you

sonic| (blushing) What no um tails can you check if it's not brainwashing anyone uh you know .... for uhh science..... yeah science that's it (whisper) I'm definitely 'not' jealous

tail| um you sure your not jealous

Tails chuckled, glancing at Sonic with a knowing expression.

Tails| Well, Sonic, if you're so curious, let me take a look. I'm pretty sure it's just a catchy pop song, though.

Tails used his handheld device to analyze the radio frequency and the song playing.

Tails| No brainwashing signals detected, Sonic. It's just a harmless pop song. Amy seems to enjoy it, and that's perfectly fine.

Sonic sighed in relief, trying to maintain his cool demeanor.

Sonic| Yeah, yeah, just making sure. I can't believe she's into this stuff.

weeks later sonic was fighting Eggman when Eggman asked a question that caught him off guard

Eggman| Sonic bro to bro what's up with you and Amy

Sonic| Uh, what do you mean, Eggman?

Eggman smirked, crossing his arms as he leaned back against his giant robot.

Eggman| Oh, come on, Sonic. Don't play coy with me. It's obvious something is going on between you and Amy.

Sonic shifted uncomfortably, feeling a blush creeping up his cheeks.
