LeahThe entire ride back to the hotel had me feeling as though my head was going to spin off its axis. My mind was racing with a million and one thoughts. I was too preoccupied with my own thoughts to pay attention to what Alex was saying to me, so I simply nod whenever she asked for my opinion. I reach for my phone as soon as I was certain that Alex was fast asleep beside me, opened Instagram and navigated to the people that I had blocked on the app. As my eyes scanned the list of contacts, my thumb rests on the option to remove the block beside her name.
I press it.
When I click on her name, I see that fortunately, her profile is public; this means that I don't need to send her a request to follow her. I go back three years on her profile, to the time that I left her.
The guilt I feel is crushing, and my heart aches.
