'Renegade'

Tell me what it is that you want?
Is it power or love that you demand?
Tying me underwater, refusing my right that you're trying to stunt,
Joining all of your games not knowing it was me that they're killing to hunt.

To see with eyes clouded by lies,
Waiting for everyday to pass by, waiting for my own demise,
Maybe it's love or this terrible life I despise,
You broke the oath that you took just for a drop of bliss and words that are nice.

And now I realised it was you the one holding the blade,
Keeping my wound open just for some grudge and some hate,
I thought you were the one saving me from this dreadful fate,
Helping me escape but you were the one locking all of the gates.

The air is thick with hatred and despair,
The shouting and crying but no one paid any care,
Looking at my own hand holding nothing but this love they said was rare,
Giving out kindness when I have nothing else to offer and share.

I feel like a sink that is over spilled,
Torturing me alive just for an empire you're trying to build,
Every corner of this house is haunted with your envy and filth,
"What a selfish being," I said to the burning fire with my head slightly tilt.

At the end, tell me is it worth all of the war?
What is it that you're trying to fight for?
Merely for a man you're breaking your vow and the lore?
Even when your soul is aching and sore?

tamat.
