Seungmin went to turn the lights off when he noticed Yejun was still looking at the photos. The two were close enough to not have those boundaries but Seungmin still felt his face heat up. "You coming?"
Yejun at least had the decency to look a little abashed when lifting his head. "Yeah, sorry... I just recognize one of the faces."
"Was one of your friends the guy that went missing at the end of senior year?"
Yejun seemed to notice the mistake the minute Seungmin's eyes widened. "Ah shit- sorry man, that was insensitive!"
"No- no, don't worry about it." Seungmin walked up to Yejun and shut the box. "Yes, yes, that's him, but can we just go for dinner, please?"
In this new life, his new and fast friend of three years nodded easily and went to turn the room lights off. "Yeah, let's go. I'll pay this time."
Seungmin's mouth settled into a smile. "Thanks."
"Yejun, you're a lifesaver!" Marcus's voice rang out from a distance.
Seungmin laughed and the sounds got caught at the back of his throat. He walking Yejun out the door of his room and slammed it shut behind him.
