Getting on with life (sequel to N-Dubz - The Young Days)

Chapter 15 (part 2)

A/N: Just like the previous chapter, this is in the other person's point of view, until the back end, when it switches back to Tulisa's point of view.

Once we were back home, I opened the door as Tulisa carried a sleeping Daisy. She set her down on the sofa and grabbed her a pillow and duvet. She draped them round her and then followed me into the kitchen.

"I'm sorry T" I spoke quietly.

"It's fine" She smiled.

"No it's not. I've treated you like a prick and I shouldn't have" I added.

"Dan, honestly, it's forgotten. You've got to promise to let me go out and have a life as well as being a wife and a Mother. I can't stay here, in these four walls forever, you have to understand that. I need my life too. I know we've had a family at such a young age, but I don't want to grow up and be an old spinster with 12 cats." She answered, laughing towards the end

"I know. I'm sorry. I can't blame you for looking in other men's directions when I treat you like the prick that I do" I admitted.

"Right, you stop treating me like some little kid and I'll start talking to you more and opening up a bit? You can't say fairer than that?" She suggested.

"Yeah, deal" I grinned.

"Good, well in that case, we've got a five year old who's asleep so erm..." She winked at me.

"What could you possibly be suggesting?" I laughed.

"Well, erm we do this thing where we take each other's clothes off and erm..." She began.

"Oh you mean bedtime fun?" I giggled.

"Yes, that kind of fun. You up for it?" She replied.

"Never say no, me" I answered.

"Good" She responded.

We went upstairs and you can guess what happened next. We made sure the door was locked this time as well!

An hour or so later

"That was amazing!" She murmured.

"I know right? I needed that" I agreed.

"I missed you" She admitted.

"I missed you too" I smiled.

"Even just laying with you, we're not even doing anything now and it just feels amazing. We've spent so much time arguing and screaming at each other that I forgot what it was like, when we are loved up" She cried.

"I love you" I whispered.

"I love you too" She replied, wiping her tears away.

"We need to make this work babe. It's obvious we both want it to" I spoke to her.

"Yeah I know we do. We need to do things as a family, but also just the two of us" I agreed.

A short while later, I got a text. It was from Dappy. He never texted me unless it was important so it must be.

From Dappy:

T? I need to talk to you

To Dappy:

Hello to you as well! What's up?

From Dappy:

She was lying about having my kid, she's not even pregnant T

To Dappy:

WHAT?!?!?!

From Dappy:

I found the test in the bin last week. It says negative. I never said nothing to her about it cos I thought if I don't, she'll slip up by herself

To Dappy:

Has she?! 

From Dappy:

No. She had no idea I knew, until I told her I did

To Dappy:

Aw Daps, I'm really sorry :(

From Dappy:

It's alright, it's not like it's your doing is it?

To Dappy:

No but you're my family and I just want you to be happy

From Dappy:

I will be one day without a lying, scheming little cow

To Dappy:

Yeah well, if I see her, I'll knock her into next week!

From Dappy:

Now that does NOT surprise me!

To Dappy:

I'm being serious Daps, if I ever see her...

From Dappy:

T man, calm it down, she's gone :)

To Dappy:

Yeah and she better fucking stay gone, the dog!

From Dappy:

Just relax T man, she's gone

To Dappy:

Good

From Dappy:

Anyway, how's things with you and Dan?

To Dappy:

Yeah we're getting there. We've had a bit of a rocky road but what couple doesn't eh?

From Dappy:

As long as you're happy?

To Dappy:

I am. I couldn't be happier :)

From Dappy:

Good :D

To Dappy:

Listen, Daps, I was just gonna get some food so I'll text you later, yeah?

From Dappy:

Yeah see you T

I smiled, locked my phone and made my way out of bed and downstairs to the kitchen. Danny was sat with Daisy watching T.V. Daisy came in and asked for a drink.

"Mummy?" She asked me.

"Yeah?" I replied.

"Can I have some juice please?" She replied.

"Yeah course you can, I'll just get you some" I smiled.

I got her some juice and she took it and went back into the living room. I smiled as I watched her go and I got back to making my toast. I know my family life isn't always perfect. Me and Danny shout, argue and say things we don't mean, but I wouldn't change my life for the world.
