Chapter 24 ~ Cotton Candy

Start from the beginning

"Okay," she replied, and I couldn't help but feel a surge of satisfaction. I loved it when she obeyed me without complaint. With that, she left to prepare breakfast.

While she was busy in the kitchen, I found my tie and put it on. Then, I took the opportunity to send some important emails to a contractor, multitasking while my wife was making my breakfast.

After finishing my work, I headed to the dining table, eager to devour the aloo ka paratha made by my beloved wife.

As I entered the kitchen, I saw her wearing an apron, her focus entirely on preparing food for me. She looked adorable, and I couldn't help but wonder how she would look in a saree, bustling around the kitchen.

Lost in my imagination, I envisioned back hugging her, feeling her waist in my hands. The thought aroused me, and I scolded myself for dwelling on such fantasies.

I realized it was time to embrace every aspect of our married life together.

"It's ready," I snapped out of my thoughts when I heard my wife's voice, signaling that breakfast was served. She had already set the table, and I wasted no time in digging in. Her cooking never failed to impress me; each bite was a testament to her culinary skills.

But as much as I enjoyed the meal, I knew time was of the essence. I ate quickly, urging her to do the same as she had to get to college. Once we finished, I swiftly dropped her off at college before heading to my own workplace.

As Raha stepped into her college and made her way to the classroom, she couldn't shake off the unease lingering from her encounter with Siddharth. She needed to talk to Ruhi about his behavior; after all, Ruhi was her best friend, and she valued their friendship deeply. She wanted to apologize on Siddharth's behalf, hoping to smooth things over and prevent any tension between them. However, when she arrived at their usual meeting spot, Ruhi was nowhere to be found.

After the first lecture, Raha decided to head to the cafe, hoping to catch Ruhi there. As she entered the cozy cafe, she spotted Ruhi sitting alone at a table, lost in thought. Relief washed over Raha as she approached her friend and took a seat opposite her, ready to address the lingering tension between them.

Ruhi looked at her, and before Raha could say anything, Ruhi said, "I am really sorry, Rahu, for my sister's behavior."

Raha also apologized, saying, "I am also sorry, Ruhi, for his behavior with your sister."

"But, Ruhi, don't you know that your sister is his ex?" Raha asked her.

"Actually, I never saw his photo, sorry," Ruhi admitted.

"It's okay," Raha said, but before they could speak further, someone interrupted them. Raha looked at the person and became shocked.

"Di, you!" Ruhi exclaimed at Sana, who took a seat beside them. Raha was shocked to see her and thought about what if she again abused her. But before Raha could even leave, Sana said, "I am sorry, Raha."

Raha became shocked because she was gentle with her words. "I am really sorry, Raha, but I haven't moved on from Sid yet, and you are his wife. So I get angry after seeing you. I know I don't deserve him, but still, I love him, and I know that he is happy with you. So from now on, I won't interfere in your life," Sana explained everything. Raha was confused whether to believe in her words or not.

"Am really sorry, Raha. Please forgive me," Sana said.

"It's okay," Raha said. She has a big heart to forgive anyone.

"You know what, Raha, me and Siddharth were so close before your marriage," Sana said, while a waiter came with a coffee and served them. Sana took a sip of her coffee.

"You know, this coffee is Siddharth's favorite, and now it's my favorite too," Raha felt bad about her words. Meanwhile, Ruhi was pinching Sana from the leg to stop her nonsense, while Sana was continuously babbling about their past relationships. She told Raha more about him than she ever knew. Talking with her, Raha realized she didn't know a single thing about him.

Suddenly, Raha's phone beeped, and she looked at the phone and saw a message from Siddharth. "Am waiting, come to the parking area." "I need to go," saying this, she left from there.

She went to the parking area and saw his car. She went there but noticed that Siddharth wasn't in the car. She became confused about where he was. Then she opened her phone to call him but stopped because she saw Siddharth standing there with lots of cotton candy in his hands.

Raha just forgot everything and her face started glowing seeing that cotton candy in his hand. In her excitement, she hugged him. Siddharth became shocked because he didn't expect this reaction from her, but he was extremely happy seeing her this happy.

He hugged her back. But at that moment, Raha realized that she was hugging him. She became shy and embarrassed.

"Sorry," Raha apologized to him.

"I love that," Siddharth thought. He knew she hugged him because of the cotton candy, but he was happy that she hugged him.

While Raha reached out to take the cotton candy from his hands, Siddharth said, "No, first sit inside. We will go home, and then you can eat something. After that, you can have this."

Raha made an angry face, listing his many rules just to eat a single candy. With an angry expression, Raha sat inside. Siddharth found her anger super cute; she was looking all red.

Siddharth also took a seat inside and started driving. But while driving, he realized his girl was really upset, and it was because of a food.

"Ok, little dove, have one," Siddharth said, forwarding one cotton candy to her. Suddenly, her eyes sparkled, and she took the candy from his hand.

"My thank, little dove," he asked.

"Thank you," she said casually while eating the food. She was looking super cute. Siddharth himself didn't know what to say; she was cute to handle. He just wanted to eat her raw. He questioned himself: How did he get such a pure girl?
