Alyssa's POV:
Now that my secret's out, it feels like a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders, especially when I have a family and boyfriend like mine to help share the load. It may take time to fully adjust to living with the daughter of one of their enemies, but as Leo said, they've known me long enough to trust me. Today, Leo & Raph are sparring one-on-one when Donnie enters the dojo.
Donnie: "Check it out, guys. We are about to take ninjutsu to a whole new level."
Leo: "Cool."
Leo takes this opportunity to sweep Raph's legs out from under him, thereby winning the match.
Donnie: "Last night, I figured out how to make...Ninja smoke bombs!"
To demonstrate, Donnie tosses an egg-like smoke bomb to the ground, disappears, and reappears on the other side of the room behind Leo.
Raph, Leo, & I: "Whoa."
Donnie: "Now, to make 'em, I carefully drill 2 holes in an eggshell, slowly blow out the contents, wait for the inside to dry, then pour in flash powder and seal both holes with wax."
Raph: "Blah, blah, science, blah. Do it again!"
Donnie: "What I'm trying to tell you guys is, they take a long time to make, so use them sparingly."
Mikey: "I'm making breakfast."
Me: "Uh, you didn't happen to leave any of these lying around in the kitchen, did you?"
Mikey: "Who wants omelets?"
Donnie: "Mikey, don't!"
Donnie rushes toward the kitchen, but Mikey's already accidentally used up a smoke bomb.
Mikey: "Uh, I think that was a rotten egg."
Leo & I laugh as Donnie explains what happened.
Donnie: "Those aren't eggs, Mikey. They're..."
Me: "Don't say it."
Donnie: "Ninja smoke bombs."
Mikey: "Shut up."
Me: "My thoughts exactly."
Leo chuckles as Mikey drops one smoke bomb after the other.
Mikey: "This...Is the best day...Of my life!"
Donnie: "Mikey, stop!"
Instead, Mikey uses one last smoke bomb.
Me: "I did warn you."
Mikey: "I love you, man!-*kisses Donnie's cheek*-Seriously."
Then, April rushes into the lair with a panicked look.
April: "Guys! Guys, you'll never believe what happened to me."
Donnie: "All right, April, calm down. Are you ok?"
April: "I am being hunted by a giant pigeon!"
Raph bursts out laughing.
Raph: "I can't be the only one who finds that funny."
Donnie: "It's not funny, Raph. There's a creature out there trying to hurt my April. Our April. April."
