It was the next morning, and everyone was already packing up. Unlike the last time they camped they are not waiting around. Nobody knows if the Bergens are still looking for them. However packing is the last thing Peppy's worried about apparently, he seems more concerned about getting him and Floyd getting a check up with a doctor. He didn't get the chance to put on Floyd's vest.

Branch didn't need a big check up. Which frustrated him a bit, but he got a crutch from the visit. A makeshift one but at least he doesn't have to be carried everywhere. Plus Floyd was with him during the check up so it wasn't so bad.

Floyd also had a quick checkup, explaining his injuries and all that. He got the bandage around his arm removed.  The doctors changed the one wrapped around his face. Branch covered his eyes when they did it, he bare to see what was done.

He didn't notice the hurt but concerned look from Floyd when he did it.

After the check ups were done they left to go pack. He wished they had done it earlier, they're one of the last to finish packing. Though Branch isn't complaining, he got the chance to put on JD's goggles, Floyd's vest and Clay's wristbands. He hesitated when he grabbed Spruce's necklace. He looked at it hard for a few seconds, then decided not to wear it. He tucked Spruce's necklace inside his journal, and put it in his bag.

He just doesn't want to….he doesn't want to lose it.

Branch looked over at Floyd and saw him holding a flower crown. Floyd was looking at it with deep sadness, before quickly putting it in his bag. He didn't ask.

After everyone finished packing, they went back on the road. Peppy was in front of course leading everyone, Branch and Floyd sticking close by him. Peppy was never letting them out of his sight.

He seriously needs to ask Floyd what happened. Peppy is watching them like a hawk. It was annoying, but Peppy wasn't the only nuisance.

Guy Diamond and the twins are with them, along with their parents. The latter of which is talking to Peppy, as they hold on to the twins. He isn’t sure what they are talking about, and he doesn’t care. Branch just hopes this won't be like last night.

“Your brother is a weird kid.” Guy said suddenly, causing Floyd to give him a funny look. Guy put his hands up defensively, quickly saying. “Not in a bad way!” Floyd raised his brow.

“Sorry it's just…” He paused for a moment, putting his hands down, thinking his next words carefully, then he continued in a somber tone, “How do you handle seeing your brother?”

The question only confused Floyd. What does Guy mean, handle it? His confusion must be evident on his face as Guy quickly clarified. “How do you handle your brother being…different from everyone else?”

Floyd was immediately mad when he heard the question. He was about to retort then the words got stuck in his throat and his anger turned to panic. He didn't want to cause a scene, so instead he took a breath in, and breathed out.

“Branch isn't d-different.” He stuttered, looking over at Branch. Who was not paying attention at all. He smiled fondly, “He's my b-brother.”

Guy looked over at Branch then at his sisters, then had a look of understanding. “I see.”

Guy turned back to Floyd and said in a guilty voice, “Sorry for asking.” Floyd just patted on his back and smiled.

Guy giggled, “You are not much of a talker, huh? You were just as quiet yesterday, I did most of the talking.” Floyd laughed back and nodded. Guy wrapped his arm around him, “That's fine, I can do all the talking so you don't have to. We're friends after all, right?”
