Introductions To Reality....Why Didn't I Realize Your Pain?

Floyd sat there in the king's tent, fidgeting with the friendship bracelet, with a now awake Branch and Poppy who was fast asleep in his hair. He is really tired and really wants to join Poppy, but he can’t go to sleep. He needs to talk to Branch about what happened, but there is a slight problem. Peppy was right outside the tent talking to some trolls, and he doesn’t want anyone to eavesdrop. 

He can tell Branch wants to talk too, he’s been giving him desperate looks and seems very tired still. They might have to sneak out at night to be able to talk, otherwise he thinks both of them wouldn't get any sleep. 

“Floyd?” Branch said quietly, looking nervous. 

He turned his head towards his brother. “Yeah?” he whispered back.

“Who is Peppy talking to?”

Floyd looked out the tent entrance and saw the same trolls that found them in the woods. What are they doing here, and who are those trollings with them?

“Those are the trolls that found us in the woods.” he answered, Branch looked confused. Right he passed out before they came. He probably doesn’t remember him running into the woods. “I’ll tell you later, outside of camp.” Branch just nodded, looking like he’s trying to figure out what happened.

He focused back to the trolls outside, the fancy looking troll looking mad at Peppy. What did he do to make the troll so mad? The glitter troll is even holding them back. After a few more minutes of back and forth, the troll calmed down, and Peppy looked defeated. What just happened?

They started to head inside the tent that he and Branch were in, Peppy looking like he wanted to run, and once they were there headed inside. 

“Hey Floyd.” Peppy said, once he was inside. He then noticed Branch awake and said quickly, “Branch.”

“Hey.” he said back, giving them a slight wave. Branch didn’t say anything, he just waved. He can already tell this will be awkward.

“Where's Poppy?” Peppy asks concerned. He just points to his hair, and at the same time she pops out, looking like she just woke up. Peppy relaxes a bit and then he gestures to the two trolls. “I’m going to talk to Sapphire here for a bit and Flare is going to watch you three while I’m gone.”

Branch immediately got mad and said, “Why are we being watched! We don’t need a babysitter!” 

He cringed a little when his little brother said that. He would agree with him that they didn’t need to be watched usually, but after the little...incident happened he isn’t sure Peppy would let them. 

“Not after running off to the woods you're not.” Peppy said, snapping a bit, confirming what he thought might happen. He saw his little brother flinch a little, and looked down. Not in shame though, he looked more confused. He feels guilty for running in the woods, but what happened to Branch freaked him out. 

Poppy got out of her sleepiness when Peppy snapped and said, “Dada ok?”

Peppy calmed down a bit and said, “I’m ok pumpkin.”

“Let’s go.” the fancy- Sapphire said nervously, dragging the king out. Once they were gone, the glitter troll or uh Flare sighed and called out saying gentilly, “You can come in you three.”

Three trollings, another glitter troll and two trolls with hair that looked attached to each other, they looked like twins, came in.

“Hey dad!” one of the twins said, looking over they noticed us, the other twin said curiously. “Who’s that?”

Flare just smiled and said, “This is Floyd and Branch, and you know Poppy right?”

They all nodded and waved at them, Poppy waved at them then went back into his hair, then one of the twins said, “I like what you did with your hair!” she said pointing at Branch’s stips of purplish blue hair. Branch just looked at her, not even bothering to answer her, she ignored this and continued saying, “I’m Chenille by the way,” she then gestured to her look alike,”and that's my sister Satin.”
